This War of Mine - Complete Edition Reviews
This War of Mine remains an affecting survival experience on Switch and this edition is a comprehensive package. A couple of minor technical issues do little to diminish its power and, although the lack of touch controls is odd, sleep mode is a winner for squeezing in a few days as-and-when you can. Switch arguably helps make this downbeat game as accessible as possible, though there's little point in double-dipping if you've tried it elsewhere. It deserves to be played in whatever form you can find it, though, and is therefore a very welcome addition to Switch's diverse catalogue.
A daring, and largely successful, attempt to show the civilian side of war, that succeeds as an interactive drama even when it occasionally fails as a game.
Save for a few issues with controls, This War of Mine feels right at home on the Nintendo Switch.
This War of Mine is not the most conventional game with a war background going and this is nothing but positive for this work, where survival and resources are vital for the player to reach the end. There are technical issues to solve but these take a step back next to the game's gameplay mechanics and environment, which are bound to keep the player closely wrapped around the game's concept for some time.

A hugely content-rich look at life as a survivor in a war-torn country, This War of Mine deserves all the praise it receives, even if it's controls and pacing are often a bummer.
A good version with no real problems of one of the best indie project of the last years.

If you're looking to play for a complete experience that will not only test your survival and decision-making skills but also your compassion and moral compass, look no further than This War of Mine
This War of Mine is an important game, but not necessarily a good one.
This War of Mine uses the classic formula of a social simulator but applied to a rather tricky topic: war. 11 bit studios has made it work, and very well, because the gameplay is solid, and at the same time the message of the game is clear. Before what we will believe we will be affected by a difficult decision that we really did not want to make, or we will see how that character that we liked the most about the others leaves us (in one way or another) for not having known how to take care of it. War is horrible and this game is going to show you.

GREAT - This War of Mine: Complete Edition is a dark and harrowing experience that does the survival genre justice. It’s not the usual happy-go-lucky game that you’re used to on the Switch, but if you’re looking for a provocative title with excellent storytelling and captivating characters, this is a great one to purchase.
This War of Mine: Complete Edition is a unique experience that rises well above some of the limitations of its indie development and manages to deliver an affecting, emotional gameplay experience.
This War of Mine isn't the biggest, most complex, most ambitious, or deepest survival game of video game industry or even this generation but without a doubt it represents one of the deepest and most engaging atmospheres in videogame history and offers a memorable experience that is both scary and stressful.
