A huge letdown for fans of the series. If you want to play this regardless, we suggest you to wait until the game is patched properly.

WWE 2K20 falls short in every aspect compared to previous entries all while being a technical mess at every turn.

So overall, while WWE 2K20 isn’t terrible, there’s no reason to pick it up if you already have WWE 2K19 in your games library. Not unless you like throwing money away, that is.

WWE 2K20 lacks anything new, with a poor story mode and bad animations, and the wrestling is plagued with technical issues that ruin any kind of enjoyment you may have.

WWE 2K20 is flat out worst entry in the series, period. The game is obviously unfinished and is full of bugs and glitches, and there is almost no way that even the die hard fans of WWE can enjoy it. WWE 2K series seems to be done for this generation, and we can only hope that the new developers will have something to offer on next generation of consoles.

Even if you’re a huge WWE fan you shouldn’t play it. 2K should take a year off, scrap this engine, and start over from scratch.

Completely unacceptable. This game should have never been released in this state and it baffles me that this was even allowed to be sold at all. WWE 2K20 is by far the worst game released in the 20-year history of the mainline series of WWE Games.

Ultimately, WWE 2K20 is the same old story of good ideas and bad execution. Having both female and male main characters in the MyCareer story mode is great. When presented alongside the "Four Horsewomen" mode/documentary, it shows 2K's commitment towards inclusivity. However, this is frequently undone by a plethora of bugs and glitches. In just a short amount of play-time, you're guaranteed to run into any number of them. Even if you can inexplicably manage to look past these problems, you're treated to original content that's also pretty flawed. Wrestling fans deserve better.

Even with the latest update, everything that haunts the game is still not fixed and the best course of action would be to take a break from the annual releases in order for the title to pick up its pieces.

WWE 2K20 is a game that, unfortunately, manages to be worse than the last edition in almost every aspect of it, from its awful models to structural problems in game modes and gameplay, being almost impossible to recommend it even to the most passionate fans of wrestling.

2K and Visual Concepts declined Yuke's services, but forgot to rework the game's concept. So WWE 2K20 has a ton of visual, gameplay and technical problems. Monotonous gameplay, dull story campaign and a huge number of microtransactions do not leave the project any chance.

WWE 2K20 boasts as usual an exaggerated roster, and the ever-valid online community that generates alternative characters and costumes. A real strength, albeit limited, given that, at the moment, it is not possible to create customized belts (promised to arrive in a future update).
