Critic Reviews for Call of Duty: Ghosts - Devastation

An improvement on the first map pack and not just because of the Predator, but Call Of Duty in general could really do with a change of scenery.

I'm really glad that Infinity Ward decided to model their DLC packs after Treyarch, and include an additional story-related component on top of the standard maps. $14.99 seems like a high price to non-fans, but I've played enough of Extinction mode to fit in the length of a few major releases -- the other maps are basically a bonus. I just hope they step it up next time and have every map match that level of quality.

If you're a major Call of Duty fan, I don't have to tell you to buy a season pass for Ghosts and the remaining DLC packs. However, if you're a casual player like me, reconsider your purchase of the Hardened or Veteran or Super-Soldier pack with the included remote control helo-tank when the next yearly entry rolls around.

We've seen more inspired work from the various Call of Duty teams in the past, when it comes to creativity and level design in the competitive component of this content. For those that dip their toes into the improving Extinction mode, this DLC has a lot more value.

A solid new addition to the Call of Duty experience and some of the best maps I've played in a long time
