Age Of Wonders: Planetfall - Invasions Reviews
Prior to its expansions, Age of Wonders: Planetfall was already a content-rich game with a lengthy list of factions, commanders, techs, and units. Invasions bolsters Planetfall's diversity and replayability with intriguing new features. The Shakarn alone make the expansion worthwhile.
The core strength of the Invasions expansion comes from what the Shakarn race can bring to the table. With their focus on infiltration and deception, as well as sonic weapons, they're a refreshing treat for Age of Wonders: Planetfall fans. Unfortunately, the other DLC inclusions aren't as noteworthy or remarkable.
Triumph once again shows how to do post-launch content in the best light possible. Invasions not only rectifies some of the issues from the base game, but also add meaningful events through the entire session. A must have for Age of Wonders and 4X fans in general.

Overall, Invasions is a DLC that adds a lot of value to the Age of Wonders series. This title is simply spectacular because of its addition of world events, a new NPC faction, and the Shakarn playable race. Invasions is a blast and this DLC catapults Age of Wonders up into a must purchase. As such, Age of Wonders: Planetfall - Invasions receives an 9 out of 10.
If Revelations was an appetizer, Invasions is the dessert to Planetfall’s main course and I have a sweet tooth. It’s a great addition to the base game and compliments it with every feature it brings.
