Critic Reviews for Elden: Path of the Forgotten
Elden: Path of The Forgotten is very unlike any other game I've played. Its unique method of conceptual storytelling urges you to continue in the hope that you may understand. It's beautifully executed, despite the battles being frustratingly difficult in places, and entices you to explore and fight through the landscape. If you are a seasoned gamer looking for a new narrative to explore, I would thoroughly recommend this game.
With Elden: Path of the Forgotten, Onerat games’ Dylan Walker has created an otherworldly experience unlike anything else. Peppered with challenging combat and beautiful graphics, this indie gem will be a great addition to your library.
Playing Elden: Path of the Forgotten is an exercise in patience. If you can tolerate it then perhaps you deserve enlightenment.
Elden is really an experience where you can see the bits and pieces of influences from other games in the look and feel of the action, but at best it struggles to really come together well...
I hope to see more game development from Walker and those that worked alongside him; I commend publishers like Another Indie that go out of their way to find these smaller projects.
Elden: Path of the Forgotten constantly reminds us that we will be alone all the way and have no help other than our own. While combat is one of the game's strengths, its many flaws in impact mean that we often die unfairly and find it harder to keep going. A game for lovers of strong emotions.

Be warned, in a game without control-scheme details, a forgetful player might find this short title unbearable.
