If it wasn't already abundantly clear, PlayStation's push into the live-service market isn't ending anytime soon. Even after the shutdown of Concord, the cancellation of The Last of Us Factions 2, or even the cancellation of a God of War live-service title, among other movements, Sony is still pursuing its proverbial golden goose.

Beyond Bungie's Marathon, Sony also has Fairgame$, a "competitive heist" game that was initially unveiled in 2023, though has not seen an update since. Apparently, that game, too, is in dire straits.
As first shared on Bluesky, according to Colin Moriary, an ex-IGN editor turned podcaster, Fairgame$ "doesn’t feel good to play" and it’s "super clunky."
That bit of information comes from a recent episode of his Sacred Symbols PlayStation podcast, where he also shared that the game underwent a pre-alpha under the codename of Project Hearts, but the feedback wasn't particularly good.
