Borderlands 4 is officially a week old, meaning most of you are already on the boss farming part of the game. Vault Hunters will be relentlessly slaughtering bosses over and over again in hopes of getting legendary weapons. Of course, with low drop rates, you're bound to get a dupe of two before it finally drops the big prize.
While these dupes are usually the same weapon with the same damage numbers, it turns out there's more to them than what the weapon card reveals. For instance, you may get the same Maliwan shotgun with the damage numbers and elements, but it seems it could actually be more powerful than the previous ones dropped by the boss.
As pointed out by Pso2redditor on Reddit, dupes may appear to be identical at a glance, but inspecting the weapon and checking out its other stats may reveal that one of them is more powerful. They noted that they encountered a duplicate Frangible Oscar Mike rifle with the exact same name, and stats. However, only when they looked at the secondary stats was when they noticed that one had +17 percent crit damage while the other had +83 percent.
