Few things in recent gaming news cycles have been as divisive as the Nintendo Switch 2. The recently released successor to the original Nintendo Switch has endured complaints over its price, the $80 pricing of its games, as well as the presence of Game-Key Cards.
Those debates aren't going anywhere anytime soon, though there could be somewhat of a solution that could come with the release of Resident Evil Requiem.
As first spotted by My Nintendo News, the Switch 2 edition of Resident Evil Requiem is £10 cheaper than the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of the game, at least on Amazon's website.
The RRP (recommended retail price) for the PS5 and Xbox versions is £70, but the Switch 2 version, which will likely end up being a Game-Key Card, is showing at £60, a savings of £10.
Right now, it's unclear why exactly the game will potentially be cheaper on Switch 2 compared to the other consoles. So far, Amazon is the only site that has an open pre-order availability, while the game has not been made available just yet anywhere else, including digital storefronts.
