While we haven't had any sales figures for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, it's been made pretty clear that the game hasn't lived up to the standards that players are used to. It's a game that's reviewed poorly, hasn't sold very well compared to the rest of the franchise, and its big Season 1 launch has done barely anything to bring people into the game.
For all intents and purposes, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been a big miss for both fans of the franchise and Activision itself, and it has now pretty much admitted as such in a new message to players.
In a new post on the official Call of Duty website, the Call of Duty team has admitted that the series has "not met your expectations fully", and has promised to "deliver and overdeliver" going forward. While Black Ops 7 wasn't mentioned, this message coming so soon after a rough launch and even rougher Season 1 launch feels like admission that they know people aren't interested this time around.
