Nintendo has announced two more retro Nintendo 64 classics coming to its Nintendo Switch Online service later this month, and if you're into 3D platformers, then these two are for you.
The last big N64 game to join the Switch Online library was Forsaken 64 back in September, and now, Nintendo is taking things in a more colorful direction with Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Tonic Trouble, both of which will be available on December 17th.
Obviously, this will be the Nintendo 64 version of Rayman 2, which is actually technically the earliest release for the game; it's in joint first place with the PC version, with ports for the Dreamcast, the PS1 and PS2, and even Nintendo's own DS and 3DS handhelds coming later.
Rayman 2 represents Rayman's transition from 2D to 3D, and it also marks the debut of Globox, the strange blue frog-like creature who would go on to star in a number of other Rayman titles, including the excellent Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.
