: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD marries a strong story with compelling themes and a great cast with some excellent game systems, resulting in one of the most cohesive and best games in the series in recent memory. There's still some evidence of the game's portable origins, but Type-0 remains a strong and engaging game even with these problems. Fans of the Final Fantasy series owe it to themselves to check it out.

6 / 10.0 - White Night
Mar 30, 2015

The game brings something we haven't seen all that much, but it doesn't bring it in a way that makes you want to play the game hour after hour. When taken in small doses, White Night can actually bring a couple of scares and jumps but not enough of it to be among the best on the market.

Battlefield Hardline is a semi-unique game in the Battlefield franchise that features an enjoyable, if forgettable, campaign and a great multiplayer mode. Those looking for the more traditional Battlefield experience will still find it here, as will those interested in Hardline's twist on the franchise.

Bladestorm Nightmare is an anachronism. It tries to do a lot of things, but does nothing terribly well. The opportunity porting the game offered was pretty much squandered, as it drags most of the original games shortcomings up with it. It's not a game for the uninitiated and it's probably better left as the cult title it always was.

Frustrating difficulty spikes in some modes. The sheer, blatant fanservice will no doubt turn some people off. The Xbox One version currently suffers from a number of technical issues.

7 / 10.0 - ScreamRide

A novel title but, just like the real thing, it's best in short bursts.

A few minor issues persist, but a number of new additions, combined with enhance visuals, balance changes and repackaged DLC, make this the best version of DmC: Devil May Cry available. Fans of the original game will find a lot of new content to sink their teeth into here, but new players are the one who will benefit most from Ninja Theory's latest.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is violent and unsettling but still pulls you in like nothing else. Its inherent flaws feel more pronounced the second time around but it's still the 80's grindhouse murder-a-thon you know and love.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is a work of art, working fundamentally as a game, and achieving what it does because of it, and not in spite of it.

5.5 / 10.0 - Zombie Army Trilogy
Mar 9, 2015

If a real zombie apocalypse was as dull as Zombie Army Trilogy, then Hitler would have won the war through boredom alone. Play the regular Sniper Elite games for long range action or revisit Black Ops 2 for zombies.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires doesn't want to innovate but it fails to provide long-time veterans with anything truly new and exciting. Even casual players will eventually be bored with the utter repetitiveness of combat.

Monster Hunter finally realizes its true potential and becomes the game it was always meant to be, in a game that is not only the best game in the series, but also one of the best games on the 3DS.

Unmechanical Extended on a fundamental level fails to address the shortcomings of the original game, and even though the extended episode tries it's best to do something interesting, it's against the clock and the mechanics of the game. Extended isn't worth the asking price for what it offers, especially over the original version.

7 / 10.0 - The Order: 1886
Feb 19, 2015

The lack of balance between gameplay and cinematics drags The Order: 1886 down. It's not a bad game but you will find better third person shooters on the market than The Order: 1886.

Feb 14, 2015

Evolve is a game that perpetuates and demonstrates the fun of online cooperative gameplay. Whether it's the A.I. combatants or online friends there's excitement to be found. Since the game relies on its multiplayer as its bread and butter, it's going to have to do a lot more in the long run should it hope to sustain any longevity.
