It's like mini golf... but more infuriating! But it can be fun too.
Taking the core of Hungry Shark for mobile phones and bringing it into full 3D with a reality tv show twist.
If [the Switch version] is the only way you can play The Outer Worlds it may be worth the price of admission. Otherwise this ambitious port is sure to disappoint.
The Last of Us Part II is finally here and if you're a fan of the original, the next chapter of the game is even more moving and riveting. For newcomers, it will make you want to play the original and best of all, there is a remastered version available. The Last of Us Part II is also quite a well-crafted game from start to finish and whether its the perfect graphics, the clever world-building elements or the moving and powerful narrative, it all comes together and really makes you invested in the next chapter of Ellie.
For anyone who has not played a Mana game before then you really can not go wrong with this version
This is an excellent way for newcomers to jump into the Borderlands series, and an even better way for old fans to play through the games again with the added benefit of portability.
Ultimately your enjoyment of the Switch port comes down to whether you value accessibility over performance. XCOM 2 is a fantastic game and is a great title to play on the go
Dungeon of the Endless provides a nice mixture of tower defense, RPG and dungeon crawler strategy with a great gameplay experience. The game is challenging, unforgiving, and requires a player who is ready to fail in order to eventually succeed.
NetherRealm Studios continues to prove that high-quality, story-focused content in fighting games has an audience, and they deliver that in spades with Aftermath.
Two new civilizations and maybe a new game mode Maya or Maya not tempt you to grab this DLC... it's ok, I'm sure my son would have cringed at that too.
51 Worldwide Games is a nice big package of classic games - but not much more than that.
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition breathes new life into this epic JRPG
Minecraft Dungeons is the perfect distraction and while it doesn't offer much in terms of originality, it's an enjoyable block… err… hack 'n slash game set the wonderful backdrop of Minecraft in this family friendly version of Diablo with good gameplay, graphics and audio to help get you lost in pure entertainment. It's also a game that is played better with friends so if you need some mindless entertainment, check out Minecraft Dungeons!
All in all, I'd say my experience with Sakura Wars was quite mixed. I enjoyed the look and feel of the game as well as spending time with its characters. And save for the repetitive, shallow combat system and tropes, I'd say it's a solid introduction to the franchise for western audiences.
If you're a Switch owner with a passing interest in baseball, Super Mega Baseball 3 is a must buy. One of the best independent titles to date on the platform – and arguably the best indy sports title, period – it does everything its predecessors did…only better.
Well intended but average in execution, Red Wings: Aces of the Sky is a noble also flawed attempt at an arcade WW1 flight shooter. Despite occasionally beautiful visuals and audio, execution is sorely lacking.
Good for one or two hits, but don't over-dose!
If you are looking for a crime caper worthy of Scorsese, this is it.
Overall though, Trials of Mana is a visually impressive game with fun combat and engaging characters. It's a game I would definitely recommend to fans of the series or any JRPG fans out there as it's a solid remake that offers players a better way to play the original game.
Green Hell the survival crafting game. Can you survive in the Jungle? Build a base, survive the night and beware of things that go bump in the night.
