8.8 / 10.0 - Apotheon
Feb 3, 2015

Apotheon is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. The beauty of this game mixes well with fast-paced original gameplay to create a truly great game. The game has its negatives but they are greatly outweighed by the positives in the game. Apotheon is a great game that any gamer will enjoy and will have many people coming back for more.

Tales from the Borderlands – Episode One: Zer0 Sum does a brilliant job of drawing the player into the world of Pandora. Both fans of the franchise, and players being introduced for the first time, will appreciate the engaging characters and their story.

8.8 / 10.0 - Prison Architect
Oct 9, 2015

Prison Architect takes a while to get the hang of, but once the basics have been mastered, it offers multiple options for experimentation in its impressive sandbox. The Campaign and Escape modes give a good change of pace, while the quirky art-style and dark undertones grab the player's attention.

Balls of Glory is a stellar addition to Zen Pinball 2. There are a few issues with each of the tables but for the most part they are very enjoyable to play and quite appropriate for players of all skill levels. Despite some of the PG censorship on two of the tables and some of the slightly repetitive sound effects this pack is well worth the purchase. There isn't much to dislike; Balls of Glory is inexpensive, a blast to play, visually stunning and feels totally connected to the franchises of which the table themes are based on.

8.7 / 10.0 - Adventures of Pip
Feb 7, 2016

Adventures of Pip is a charming platformer, with an amusing story and world born from the game's central mechanic. The platforming and puzzles increase in difficulty with each level, while adding new challenges to keep the gameplay fresh. Some aspects of the platforming require a lot of precision, but this encourages players to improve their skills.

The Homeworld Remastered Collection is an excellent example of how to bring classic RTS gameplay into modern gaming. While there are a few issues with pacing at the beginning of games, the fluid combat, three-dimensional strategy and excellent attention to detail makes this a hugely unique and immersive gameplay experience.

8.7 / 10.0 - Runbow
Sep 26, 2015

Runbow is a fantastic experience whether you're adventuring alone or running amuck with some mates. There's a huge amount of content to try out and enjoy from the various different modes, the huge amount of content and staggering number of playable scenarios. The whole colour switching mechanic makes for some interesting, varied and frighteningly addictive gameplay that'll eat up great quantities of your time.

Tales from the Borderlands – Episode Two: Atlas Mugged continues where the first episode left off, with a return of the fantastic humour and intriguing story line. There is a focus on conversation between characters over action, meaning that there is little plot progression, but the use of humour combined with an investment in the characters makes playing the game worthwhile.

8.6 / 10.0 - Splatoon
Jun 4, 2015

Splatoon is without a doubt one of the best games out there for the Wii U. The games unique paint mechanics make for great frantic, fast paced matches that anyone can get some enjoyment out of. Unfortunately it's disappointing how little content there is at launch - with only two online modes and short hero mode it leaves you wanting more. Yet the quirky nature of the game makes it highly addictive and something that'll keep you entertained for hours on end.

8.5 / 10.0 - BRAWL

Brawl has all the elements a Bomberman fan could possibly want: fun, addictive gameplay, a great multiplayer mode, and tons of unlockable stages and characters. It may suffer from some tone issues during the course of its story mode, and gameplay may end up feeling a bit repetitive, but this is some of the most fun you can have on the PS4 at the moment.

Resident Evil HD Remaster is just as good as the original in most ways, and in others better. Resident Evil HD feels great, looks great, and the controls are wonderfully remade for the newer systems. It can get a little hard at times figuring out your way, but that is what makes Resident Evil one of the hardest, yet most accomplished games in the series to have ever been released.

Iron from Ice is a great start to a promising series, mixing great dialogue with important choices. Its visuals may not be up there with Telltale´s best but this is nonetheless a hugely enjoyable episode.

LA Cops is an action-packed shooter which throws the player into the world of a 70's Cop Show. Fast paced gameplay, unique use of two characters and a catchy soundtrack make this shooter a joy to play. Small problems arise with the aiming system and story but overall the game is brilliant. Fans of Hotline Miami should check this out.

8.5 / 10.0 - Not a Hero
Feb 5, 2016

Not a Hero is an exceptionally well done shooter made a whole lot better by its inviting art style, generous amounts of gore and non-linear levels. It could have used some better writing, particularly in the jokes, but overall it's a game that never overstays its welcome and provides some good hours of fun
