After the shocking conclusion of Chaos Theory, Life is Strange Dark Room ups the ante once more and continues on it path of out of the blue surprises. Taking a darker and at times almost gruesome turn, episode 4 offers not only the longest story of the four but the best in the series so far. Character development reaches a new emotional level of depth and the gameplay has developed further again to gain a sense of challenge.

8.5 / 10.0 - Hyper Light Drifter
Jul 12, 2016

Hyper Light Drifter is a great homage to the generation of 8/16-bit games that came before, while respecting the sense of wonder they produced long ago. Parts can be taxing, but ultimately rewarding. Try not to break your controller.

Renowned Explorers: International Society is a brilliant adventure with the feel of an RPG. With plenty of characters to choose from, each with their own abilities, each play is different and intriguing. Also, with so many places to explore as well as upgrades and combinations it is difficult to exhaust all the features. It is a wonderfully put together game with hours of fun to be had from it.

8.5 / 10.0 - Gunman Clive HD
Sep 17, 2015

Gunman Clive HD Collection includes both Gunman Clive games. The art style may put some players off, and the game is very short, but the level design is both challenging and fun, with some huge bosses thrown in for good measure.

8.5 / 10.0 - Klaus
Feb 11, 2016

Klaus is a delightful platformer stuffed with thought-provoking dialogue and ingenious level design. Its difficulty curve and control options could have used some adjustment, but this is an overall remarkable title with plenty to offer to those looking for a fresh take on the genre

Give No Shelter is a fantastic episode that more than makes up for the series’ disappointing premiere and sets things up nicely for next month’s finale. It’s got a great opening section, some of the most intense scenes ever delivered by Telltale, and a bunch of twists and turns to keep things interesting. If you’ve played the first episode and you’re not sure about wanting to give the series a second chance, I implore you to try this one and see for yourself why Telltale is one of the best storytellers in the business

8.4 / 10.0 - Blackguards 2
Dec 15, 2014

Blackguards 2 is an immersive and enjoyable game, which allows a player to adjust all aspects of the game to suit their own playstyle, while constantly keeping them on their toes, as the tiniest slip-up can result in failure. Very entertaining, even for those who aren't fans of turn-based strategy.

Mushihimesama may be on the short size with only five levels, but packs in a range of difficulty modes to make up for it. It is a fun game, which makes players feel over-powered while attempting to dodge beautiful and well-designed bullet patterns.

Underneath the One piece slathered visuals and story you have your typical Warriors game, but the two fit perfectly together. The hack 'n' slash combat feels nice and fluid and makes it accessible for anyone despite their level of skill plus the anime style is a real treat to look at just be wary of the drop in local multiplayer. One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is a game that fans of the series and Warriors franchise will absolutely love plus its one that players unfamiliar to series will be able to enjoy.

8.3 / 10.0 - A Bastard's Tale
May 28, 2015

A Bastard’s Tale is a great game if you’re looking for a challenge. The combat mechanics take a little getting used to but they’re really top notch and there’s a great gameplay setting to go along with it. True it’s a little on the short side and it could have done with an actual story to give an extra push through those difficult times. However the addictive gameplay and need to get just a little further will keep pulling you in every time. This is a game that’s great for killing time in short bursts and one to recommend.

Life is Strange: Chaos Theory continues the good work that the two previous instalments have set up, taking the story and gameplay to new places without forgetting the ideas that have become central to the series, even in such a short space of time. The balance of gameplay and story is arguably improving, and it no longer feels as if the narrative is the one thing subject to change.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is a very well constructed, and beautifully made RPG. It isn't for the faint hearted; knowledge of how RPG's work, and a lot of time, is needed to understand and get to grips with the game. While being challenging, it offers plenty of action to those who wish to immerse themselves in a rich and quest filled world.
