Already boasting one of Media Molecule's strongest campaigns, Dreams also has the creation tools that let you make the game of your dreams. They are as deep as advertised, and it's wonderful.

Lonely Mountains: Downhill offers a pleasing mixture of challenge and serenity. It's a touch repetitive and the level design needs work, but it's a fine way to while away a rainy afternoon or two.

Ciel Fledge: A Daughter Raising Simulator breaks new ground with its combination of game systems, but hiding critical information from the player is a real drag on a long game.

LUNA The Shadow Dust is a beautiful game in a mysterious world. While not for those seeking a strong story or intimately clever puzzles, it provides a fun, whimsical experience.

6.5 / 10.0 - SIMULACRA
Jan 15, 2020

Simulacra 2 is an improvement on its predecessor, but there's further to go. A tighter narrative and better interface design don't quite compensate for sketchy writing and silly horror.
