4 / 5.0 - Bedlam

Though the game can occasionally feel a bit unfair in combat, it more than makes up for it with its fantastic atmosphere.

4 / 5 - Dropsy
Sep 24, 2015

Dropsy is a stand-out in the point-and-click genre and a resurgence of classic mechanics. A simultaneously heart-warming and heart-wrenching experience, this game is able to convey emotion unlike any game I have played in a long while.

I've played some pretty bad games in my life but I can say without a doubt that Revenge of Kuma is easily one of, if not the biggest piece of s*** I've ever had the displeasure of playing. This is a clearly unfinished, hot mess of a game that leaves a dirty stain on a great series.

The River of Alice Extended Version is a thoroughly mixed bag. Though some of the puzzles, the visuals, and the sound are pleasant and relaxingly surreal, the slow pace and sometimes nonsensical puzzles make the game more akin to a dream you’ll forget in the morning.

Armikrog is a somewhat functional game that is unfortunately full of archaic game design, half-baked ideas, glitches galore, insultingly repetitive puzzles, and unrealized potential.

Fans of classic isometric RPGs and Dungeons and Dragons alike will enjoy the style of gameplay. Unfortunately performance issues, frustrating combat and the hidden requirement of needing party members can mar the experience.

It's hard to believe that Larian was able to make Original Sin better than it already was but they did. This package is a must-buy for any console player looking for an RPG to sink dozens of hours into, and there are enough changes to warrant PC players jumping back in.

4.5 / 5.0 - Downwell
Oct 29, 2015

A fantastic action-platformer with roguelike elements; Downwell is a pleasure to play. It's easy to pick up with a very high skill-ceiling. At such a low purchase-price it is hard not to recommend to anyone who enjoys a bit of challenging, fast and rewarding gameplay.

The Park is an incredibly creepy narrative experience that unfortunately suffers from a lack of things to do.
