A massive step up from 2019's A Plague Tale: Innocence in every possible way! Expanding the world and characters without losing its' heart. A true shining light for single-player linear games, focusing on the narrative, something we don't often see anymore.

Soulstice isn't looking to reinvent any wheels but it's an incredibly fun hack-and-slash adventure game with decent storytelling. It's only downsides are it's weak visuals and finicky camera.

Vampire Survivors is the perfect introduction to the swarm survival genre. It will provide hours upon hours of fun that will leave you wanting more!

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed serves up short, sharp shocks of supernatural asymmetrical play. It may prove a bit too simplistic for some, but the game will likely hand out more of a treat and less of a trick for longtime Ghostbusters fans.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a solid game loop that feels fun to play, especially if you are with friends. However the progression system and the cosmetics have much to be desired. Hopefully the longer this game stays in service, the better the options become.

For a fighting game that came out in 2018 and is finally reaching consoles, along with the cross-platform play function following the console release, it’s a really cute game. It really grew from one concept to another but still managed to keep the basis of it which is cute hoofed animals duking it out with magic players.

Pretty Girls Escape is a puzzle game akin to BreakThru! but with added features and mechanics. It doesn't add a whole lot but it does add enough to be engaging and a satisfying puzzle game.

Overwatch 2 doesn't feel like a sequel but still offers an extremely entertaining experience to those who come back to the series once more. The new characters, maps, and modes are all highlights in this game. However, the microtransaction model is expensive, and the lack of sequel-level changes to Overwatch 2 may cause an exodus of bored fans.

The Darkest Tales is a solid action 2D Platformer with a twist on classic Fairy Tales. A fun short adventure that tells a story about a teddy bear trying to rescue its owner. Plus, how cool is a duel-wielding Teddy Bear? How much more do you want?

For what it’s worth, Hardspace: Shipbreaker is one of the most relaxing sci-fi games I’ve played in a long time and it runs wonderfully on the PS5. I don’t have to worry about crashing my ship into a planet or being shot up by aliens. As long as I’m not getting sucked into the furnace or shattering my helmet with a table I tried to throw into the furnace, life is good…especially once LYNX is out of the picture.

FIFA 23 is a fitting end to a great partnership between FIFA and EA. Perhaps the best representation of the real game we have ever had. An excellent send-off for a beloved franchise.

World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is one of those games that is held back by two things: The community, which has become so toxic that it cannot be saved, and a company that only listens to its Top 1% of the player base (Streamers and hardcore raiders). Wrath Classic could have been the game that returned World of Warcraft back to its glory days, but listening to the wrong people, has doomed the franchise back into its darkest days, ruining one of the best experiences with it.

SpiderHeck can absolutely bring out the competitive spirit in people. But its natural charm lies in providing laughs when the chaos lets loose and somebody swings right into a laser sword or accidentally blows up a chunk of the map. It would benefit from a bit more variety in game modes and content, but as it stands it offers a fun and unique spin on the couch brawler genre.

Jack Move has a lot of great mechanics and customization that ultimately doesn’t get utilized due to some poor balancing. The art design and music are fantastic and we hope to see more from this world.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is a solid entry into the Legend of Heroes series. It has superb sound design, art, and storytelling. It has a really good detective oriented main character that pays off quite well in the end.

Steelrising offers a unique take on the French Revolutionas you assume the role of the Aegis hacking and slashing her way through a Paris besieged by an army of Automatons. While its developer, Spiders, does offer a unique twist on the Souls-like formula by tweaking the stamina mechanic and a focused narrative, it's clearly a game made on a budget. I personally had a lot of fun but I must admit that it has some issues like broken audio, textures and objects popping in and out, repetitive environments and it just becomes too easy by the end of the game.

Expanding the modes, adding new characters, more customization options, and improved netcode would do wonders for All-Star Battle R. As it stands, this game is still a love letter to JoJo and worth picking up for fans of the franchise or anyone with fighting game chops looking to branch out.

Amnesia: Later x Crowd is a fun expansion into the world of Amnesia. It requires knowledge of Amnesia: Memories and takes place as sequels. The sad part is it doesn't have a lot of content combining the two games together.
