Super Mario Party is a love letter to the N64 titles, making it an excellent party game for veterans and newcomers of the franchise.
Independent game studio Rym Games has worked wonders with a deeply immersive and fresh take on the haunted house exploration game genre.
Forza Horizon 4 takes the pole position as one of the best racing games ever made.
The second episode of the season takes us further into the end of both Clementine's and AJ’s campaign. Though much wasn’t expanded on compared to the first episode, this is one you still won’t want to miss.
With a mix of real life drama and supernatural elements, there's certainly a story in here that even newcomers to the series can enjoy. For longtime fans, you may even notice some cool references if you pay close enough attention. Sean and Daniel have a long road ahead full of twists and turns, and as the brothers seem to have already learned, life is most certainly strange.
Insomniac Games makes the City of New York just as much a character as Spider-Man himself. It helps push Marvel's Spider-Man to be more than just a great superhero game; it's a great game, period.
The Gardens Between shouldn’t be overlooked. The near-perfect title combines beautiful imagery with seamless gameplay and challenging puzzles, creating a top-notch gaming experience.
Destiny 2: Forsaken isn't perfect, but it succeeds in giving Destiny the content filled shot it needs.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider stands as the best in a trilogy of excellent games.
2064: Read Only Memories Integral is a point-and-click adventure with a bit too much exposition. The puzzles and story are very well done. But in this day and age, too much exposition can make a game drag and become boring. That’s where 2064 suffers the most. If you can stand it, then you will no doubt enjoy the characters and voice acting.
Monster Hunter: World stomps its way onto PC, but not without suffering a couple of setbacks in the process.
Red's Kingdom boasts a fun and cute aesthetic, but the gameplay on the Switch proves immensely frustrating. The game is better served as a small-doses adventure on mobile.
Overall, All-Star Fruit Racing is a cute kart racer for younger gamers. It’s aesthetically pleasing and has some fun racing moments. The game mechanics could use some work, but I don’t think it will stop the younger crowd from enjoying it. Serious fans of the kart racing genre may want to look elsewhere.
The Evil Within 2 is a solid horror title that has been keeping fans occupied as there are very few of them in the genre.
Super Metroid, Symphony of the Night, and now Dead Cells – it easily stands with the greats in every regard.
In the end, The Walking Dead: The Final Season is truly the start of the end. For there only being four episodes for this last season, each episode will be extra chunky with story and gameplay as we start reaching the deadline of Telltale’s The Walking Dead series.
More The Americans than James Bond, Phantom Doctrine takes the turn-based tactical genre and infuses it with Cold War espionage.
Every time I pick up this game, I have fun, especially with friends and I cannot wait for what the future holds.
Above all else Battlefront II is extremely fun. The gameplay is balanced and exciting. It is everything we, as gamers, had hoped for out of Battlefront and is a logical successor to the Battlefront series from the early 2000s.
After putting in 70+ hours into the game and unlocking all achievements, it is easy to say that it’s refreshing coming back to a game on a different perspective of the series that’s never been touched, its origins.
