8 / 10.0 - Madden NFL 16
Aug 28, 2015

Madden 16 has now begun to reflect on how the NFL has evolved, and despite its growing pains, the positives outweigh the negatives in this strong outing. Madden NFL 16 is a necessity for returning fans.

While not the lavish remaster fans might have hoped for, this port of Dishonored remains a great stealth-action title, and the addition of Knives of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches only amplify that point.

9 / 10.0 - Xeodrifter
Aug 27, 2015

Renegade Kid took to Xeodrifter with the retro scene in heart, and the end result reflects that. The charm of exploring each planet far outweigh that it's all over a little too quickly.

A great starter kit history lesson for a beloved platforming franchise. Be warned that it is a very tough and often frustrating lesson, but that it does have its rewards.

6 / 10.0 - Calvino Noir
Aug 25, 2015

Calvino Noir starts off strong with a great setting and cast of characters but finds itself almost totally crippled on account of its heavily flawed stealth mechanics; a tragically missed opportunity.

8 / 10.0 - Until Dawn
Aug 24, 2015

Equal parts teen slasher, action adventure, and psychological horror, Until Dawn throws a lot at the board and nails only some of it. But its biggest win is choice--permanent, unpredictable, and meaningful.

8 / 10.0 - Volume
Aug 24, 2015

Volume is not perfect, but it is a relentlessly fun, interesting and engrossing stealth game that looks to have legs thanks to an excellently simple level creator.

The Phantom Pain combines an open-world setting with the best Metal Gear Solid gameplay the series has to offer and a killer narrative to boot.

An entertainingly substantial, if simplistic take on tower defence warfare, Toy Soldiers War Chest's thrills are prominent, yet a little dulled by some technical issues and a needlessly greedy pricing model.

7.5 / 10.0 - ZOMBI
Aug 20, 2015

A rather basic port instead of a revised version of an underrated gem it needed to be, Zombi still manages to hold up well three years on thanks to the way it makes great use of its location, subject matter and atmosphere to create an unnerving modern survival horror.

Aug 19, 2015

Great fun, especially with friends, Goat Simulator is so out there and different to the norm that you can't help but have a good time, and laugh along with it.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture spins a good yarn, but it does nearly all the spinning, leaving little for the player. Its impact falls flat after trudging slowly across a world with little of substance for players to find, explore, or interpret.

6 / 10.0 - Submerged
Aug 5, 2015

Exploration can get very boring when you're just doing the same thing over and over again, but the intriguing game world, soothing soundtrack and unfolding story ensure Submerged keeps its head just above water.

8.5 / 10.0 - Lost Dimension
Aug 5, 2015

A fun detective-esque RPG that punishes and rewards at the same time through its original story and game mechanics. Lacking RPG fundamentals like side quests and super-powered equipment will turn off some genre enthusiasts, but those who give it a chance will be captivated.

4.5 / 10.0 - Abyss Odyssey
Aug 4, 2015

An unnecessary port of an already unspectacular game. It may find an audience, but it'll make it as tough as possible to like it first.
