When it comes to authenticity and racing fun, Formula 1 2017 is the total package.
ChromaGun is a fun and challenging first person puzzle game that achieves what it set out to be. The game constantly kept challenging me to think in new ways on how to mix the colors and use what I had at my disposal in order to reach my goal. I wasn't fond of having to replay portions though every time I made a mistake and I made a lot as a got further and further into the game. If you can look past that and are a fan of puzzle games ChromaGun is a must play in my opinion.
I was blown away by Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and it now stands as probably my second favorite Uncharted game just behind Uncharted 2. Chloe shines brilliantly here and is backed up by some strong supporting characters. The production values here are nothing short of impressive either especially for the asking price.
Ken Follett and Daedalic managed to make a game revolving politics and religion incredibly compelling and fun. Fans of the book and fans of a good story should seriously consider entering the world of Knightsbridge on home consoles.
Though I enjoyed the first 3 Nate games, A Thief's End is definitely a way to put an end to the legend of Nathan Drake. If I had to pick one Nathan Drake game this would be the game that I would tell others to play.
Conga Master gets a lot of credit from me for being unlike anything else on the market. It's colorful, embraces its art style and has incredible music. It's also very repetitive and the fact you can't level select just kills it for me.
Agents Of Mayhem is not a game that I would personally recommend to purchase right away, but there's enough good in the game that it's certainly worth keeping your eyes on when it goes down in price in the future.
Jump, Step, Step is good for a quick distraction every now and again, but not much more.
If you call yourself a fan of fast action games than ICEY is a must play for you. This game wasn't on my radar at all but it is one of the best indie games of 2017 that I've played. Fast, responsive combat mixed with a beautifully drawn world and a narrator who actually speaks to what the player is doing all combine to form a true gem.
To me it really does seem like a paid demo and I think you can find better things to play for 30 minutes of your time than this.
Infinite Minigolf is a fun and easy to pick up and play game that anyone I think can enjoy.
Aaero is an amazing experience with one of the best soundtracks I ever had the joy to listen to. It's genuinely fun to play and the songs will stick with me for weeks to come. It's a brilliant work of audio-visual art and my only complaint is there aren't more tracks to enjoy. If I ever see DLC for it, it'll be a snap purchase! Because as Flux Pavilion would say it: "I can't Stop"
It's a fun game if you play in small sessions as otherwise the combat may get too repetitive. The story has a lot of faults and one could probably make a case for skipping the story altogether and getting the better experience out of it. Fans of the Fate Series will want to try this out however as it's fun to be able to control your favorite characters from the previous games and anime shows and dish out damage by the thousands. There is also enough content here to keep you busy for about 20-30 hours (story included)
If you're not already a fan of city-building games, this one will not win you over. To me, personally, it still feels more like doing work than playing a video game; I just didn't feel like I had any fun with it. I do see there are area's the developers put a lot of work in and the unique setting could very well be enough of a draw for fans of the genre to check this out.
Vostok Inc. is an incredible blend of twin-stick shooter and oddly enough…clicker style game.
If you were a fan of Splatoon on the Wii U, and you own a Switch then you should already know the excitement and fun you're in for. If you're new to Splatoon, and own a Switch then what are you waiting for? You need this game because it's going to be worth it for sure.
You don't see many open world games that feature absolutely no combat and Prideful Sloth I think took a gamble here making a game like that. However their small team succeeded in my eyes as Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles was a relaxing and entrancing game to play through.
When I was around 20-30 hours into Persona 5 I thought it was a fantastic game. By the 100 hour mark and upon finishing my first playthrough I realized this is a truly exceptional game.
Iron Crypticle is the perfect example of a game whose whole is worth more than the sum of its parts.
With 4-player support and a variety of modes both traditional and unique, Crazy Strike Bowling EX is a blast.
