8.8 / 10.0 - I Am Bread
Apr 2, 2016

I Am Bread is a fun and truly challenging game if you don't mind the amount of frustration it brings. Simple yet it can definitely give out hours of gameplay, depending on how much it would take before you reach your ragequit threshold. I Am Bread is highly recommended for anyone to give it a try, especially those gaming masochists who are into these kinds of will-crumblingly hard games.

With all awesomeness and exciting gameplay of Trackmania Turbo, it is your type of racing game where you get to be hooked up again to just play and beat those damn scores. Overall, the game is enjoyable and decent as a beat'em up game. However some players may be turned off by how shamelessly it panders to the girl's assets. This is still a decent enough game to play for beat'em up fans however.

9 / 10.0 - XCOM 2
Apr 11, 2016

Needless to say, although the game has some issues with some mechanics, namely stealth, and on launch it had a lot of performance issues, with Workshop integration and the Fireaxis working hard to optimize the game, it is a solid game.

To sum it all up, Rise of the Tomb Raider raises the bar higher for action-adventure games. It is graphically beautiful and cleverly written to make players feel like they are watching a movie. The gameplay is tweaked and perfected but the linearity and tutorial-packed missions can make the game easier. Nitpicking aside, this might be best action-adventure game since The Last of Us.

Setting the server problems aside, The Division is satisfying at best. However, the game also gives you a lot of things to do in your first few levels below 10 which made the game's pace a little slow. The Dark Zone, cooperative missions, and a lot of things to discover would be the primary reasons why you will be back in the streets of Manhattan. This is the type of game where online open-world shooter players and MMO lovers will enjoy.

7.3 / 10.0 - Victor Vran
Apr 13, 2016

Victor Vran is a great game to kill-time — since you have to keep on dodging, attacking, picking up loots, activating regeneration statues and the sort — and is really fun once you get the hang of it. It's got a lot of potential, too. Maybe balancing out the scaling system would be great. Graphics is solid, really made an impression on me. The fun and challenging aspect of Victor Vran covers what seemed to lack in its narrative.

8.7 / 10.0 - Funk of Titans
Apr 14, 2016

Overall, being a runner game, it does offer a quick challenge for those that are into the genre. The side objective of perfecting the stages is really not that hard to do but it definitely adds a couple more hours of play time. Also, the references and the humor used was light and it added to the whole fun feeling that it tries to give out. Funk of Titans is definitely a must-play that we recommend.

A worthy successor to an already great game. Danganronpa‘s mysteries will keep you hooked and the logic puzzles will have you at your wit’s end. If anything, the game’s mini-games may prove to be a bit annoying at first and the game doesn’t exactly do a good job with teaching them to you. Overall, a must-buy for fans of the first game.

7.5 / 10.0 - IS Defense
Apr 16, 2016

IS Defense reminded me that even with a game’s simplicity, you can still get fun from it, provided that its creators has done right to put the FUN in the fundamentals of this game. It is simple, it is fun and it does just what a single player shooter arcade should do while adding in its own touches but there were flaws and that was sometimes it would have a glitch where cars that blew up flew off farther than they should in an awkward manner but that really it.

9.5 / 10.0 - Ratchet & Clank
Apr 17, 2016

The Ratchet & Clank reboot is one of the best exclusive games I've bought so far. It was worth it for only $39.99 (Php. 1,895.00), it's pretty affordable for a remake on the PS4 unlike other exclusives which usually goes to a full-price of $59.99 (Php. 2,595.00). It offers a better reintroduction to the series for all newcomers. Aside from being almost similar to the old version, the fantastic improvement on its aesthetics, decent level design, great voice actors behind the game, smoother controls, and the cinematic feel makes this game worth adding to your Playstation 4 library without a doubt.

A fantastic fantasy action hack-and-slash RPG game, Stories: The Path of Destinies definitely delivered on what their title suggested. A must for every RPG lover out there.

3.5 / 10.0 - I Want To Be Human
Apr 20, 2016

I Want To Be Human isn’t really that good. The only fun thing about this game is how you execute your opponents with flashy moves. Other than that, I Want To Be Human is pretty much awful, not much to look into. To be brutally honest, this should’ve been posted as a free game rather than turning it into a $15 Steam entry.

7.8 / 10.0 - Far Cry Primal
Apr 20, 2016

Far Cry Primal, however, falls flat in some aspects. The story is remarkably simple and the characters aren't that engaging. Though credit to the makers in developing a unique culture and language for your protagonist. The game's lacking variety means there isn't much of a learning curve after the initial few hours your style may become set and this sets you up for the entire game. And there isn't ever much of a need to change your style afterwards.

Paranautical Activity is a really, really challenging game to play especially for casual gamers. The visuals and the theme might not appeal to most of the gamers out there but the action it gives out might get some hooked up. The repetitiveness of the levels and the repetitiveness brought by dying and trying might get tiresome real quick and another downside is that there really isn’t much that the game can award the player besides unlocking an even harder level of difficulty plus some small plaques of achievement. Still, we recommend Paranautical Activity if you are into frustratingly hard but nice games.

7 / 10.0 - Rogue Stormers
Apr 23, 2016

While it does a lot of things correct and brings back nostalgia from yesteryear’s action platformers, Rogue Stormers is far from perfect. It has fun gameplay and a unique combination of rogue-like and old-school, along with bringing back of almost long gone features like local cooperative play, but the way how the game handles item drops, the long grind for even early levels, and the lack of save points after each level can be frustrating to some people. The game is a mix bag, and not for everyone. Personally, I will try and try again, but I do have my limits.

7 / 10.0 - Kholat
Apr 25, 2016

Don't get me wrong, KHOLAT is a good example for next-generation walking simulators. But the unhinged story and lackluster gameplay makes the game feel stressful at times. The graphics, once again, are impressive. The 4 or so hours I've spent are oftentimes stressful when walking back and forth and don't even get me started with the game's disappointing ending.

7.8 / 10.0 - Severed
Apr 26, 2016

It’s a fun, simple, good looking game with a surprisingly deep combat system. That said, there isn’t much more to the game besides the occasional dungeon puzzles so if you’re hungry for more, this game might not be for you. If you have the patience for repeated battles while dungeon crawling, then it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to find yourself burning hours just swiping at your screen.

7.8 / 10.0 - NO THING
Apr 26, 2016

The game may confuse you with its mechanics and gameplay, but the real beauty within NO THING is its story. It’s about the beauty of ‘illusion’. It was set in a totalitarian world, after all. No matter what path (or platform) you choose to go with in this game, it will always bring you to the same place where you’re supposed to head. That’s the beauty of illusion. That’s the beauty of choices. Ultimately, that’s the beauty of this game.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada hits a soft spot in my heart. It requires patience and mastery. Add that with superb writing and voice acting, amazing visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4, and very resounding sound effects, Tindalos did an amazing job in bringing this property of Games Workshop to life.
