Rare Replay is undoubtedly one of the most honest compilations of recent years. We say honest because the content it offers for the price it offers leaves no room for doubt, we have 30 years of a company compiled on a single disc, with complete games and for all tastes. We could get exquisite and claim that they had included some more adaptation like the version of Conker of the first Xbox, but as they commented from the studio itself, maybe soon they will add new games to expand is already in itself, essential compilation.

For me it is always difficult to analyze a remastering of an old game, there are many factors to take into account. I think it's more about analyzing improvements and changes, than the game itself, especially in a game more than 20 years ago. I use a cinematographic simile again, you can't analyze a movie from 40 years ago that has been remastered in color and give it a 1 in special effects and lower the grade drastically, it would be totally unfair. I think that in this case it happens the same, it is a very short game, not very playable with old mechanics and rough handling. However, it maintains all the qualities of a real bombshell at that time, the essence of what a video game is, improved just enough so that it remains the same game... and that has a lot of merit.

If we will see more Ryse in the future, time will tell, but the base we currently have is very solid and only providing the game with a deeper combat system and more variety of situations, we would be facing a much rounder game,the failures of Ryse are intuited within a few hours, but these failures do not make the adventure and the story that it proposes to us totally satisfactory.
