Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters made me wish I was a veteran of the genre to appreciate it the way it deserved to. Ultimately, it left me yearning for the game it could have been.
Peppy's Adventure is the hardest puzzle game I've had the pleasure of reviewing thus far, and that is both a great and terrible thing for it, as I swiftly found myself hopelessly stuck.
Summertime Madness is an engaging puzzle-adventure title with challenging puzzles, stunning graphics, a beautiful soundtrack and a wealth of collectibles. While several of its puzzles are needlessly complex, and some collectibles are near impossible to find without a guide, it is enjoyable for fans of the puzzle genre nonetheless.
A short game that doesn't outstay its welcome, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising was an enjoyable, if slightly repetitive, experience that serves as an ample teaser for something bigger.
Soundfall is a fun rhythm game featuring a ton of songs in multiple different genres and a Free Play mode where you upload your own music to challenge, with the option to play with up to four players.
With so much to do, collect, and kill, I don't know how I'll be putting down Sniper Elite 5 any time soon.
A great game with loads of playtime that I'm going to keep returning to for a long time to come. If only to work off my debt.
A finely struck balance of the grim dark expanse between the stars and the whimsy to be found on far away planets, definitely one worth your time and money. I just wish Isao would shut the hell up from time to time!
A unique world with some fantastic environment designs and challenging combat, let down by often unfair enemies and a story that just wasn't that interesting.
Kaiju Wars is a great game for anyone who loves classic monster movies, old school games, and strategy titles that have you using your brains trying to protect the city, not destroy it.
Playing as the Kandarian Demon isn't as fun as it should be and the single-player experience is somewhat lacking, but if you want to team up with three friends and show a bunch'a deadites just how deadly a prosthetic chainsaw can be, this is the game for you.
An excellent core concept but lacklustre execution. Still enjoyable for those that love simulators and dinosaurs but should probably be missed by those that are unsure.
King Arthur: Knight's Tale is a great turn-based strategy game, but vastly more so for those well-versed in Arthurian legend. That said, even if you don't know much about the legend - or want to learn about it - this is a great game.
Bakery Simulator lets you experience all the work that goes into running a bakery all on your own without the dishes. The controls can get very frustrating when racing against the clock to get the order out!
A charming cast of characters, engaging narrative, and enjoyable puzzles make Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit stand side-by-side with some of the best games in the genre.
Doki Doki Ragnarok is an absolutely ridiculous game - in a good way, of course. It has some spelling mistakes and isn't meant to be taken seriously. Truthfully, I had a lot of fun playing it, and I would have loved it if there was more to do.
Despite how daunting 100 puzzles might sound, Dungeons of Dreadrock is a quick and easy experience for any player. You should be able to complete this one in an evening and feel well accomplished.
Robo Wars is a simplistic 2D fighter with robots facing off against each other. There is no story here, and the game felt very repetitive and boring.
A pretty cool dystopian experience filled with blackmail, intimidation, and gross human rights violations. The dark themes make it a bit of a heavy hitter.
One of the most polished biking sims I've ever experienced, MotoGP 22 will please both series veterans and newcomers willing to take the time to learn the sim-heavy mechanics.
