GameGrin's Reviews
An excellent campaign diminished by the intrusion of the game's multiplayer elements. Some peculiar bugs and sloppy proof-reading can pull you out of the experience but enjoyable combat and an excellent take on some Marvel staples make for an overall fun but grindy core gameplay loop.
Wasteland 3 is a fantastic game in a series that is constantly improving. Not only am I excited for whatever comes next for Wasteland, we should all be eagerly awaiting the next step for inXile Entertainment too.
An excellent start for a beginner, and a great delve into the medieval period for history fanatics to boot.
Super cute characters and fun minigames to play here. No story and not too much variety for levels, but if you want something super easy to play locally, this is a fun one to try.
Missed opportunities wrapped up in a vaguely scary hellraiser-esque skin. Avoid it, unless you like frustration.
Summary: I enjoyed my time with Dungeons 3 - Complete Collection and look forward to jumping back into the game and spending another 20 hours or so just enjoying the game.
A beautiful anime racing title that has a lot of customization and mechanics to love. If you aren't a big fan of high school type anime, this may not be the game for you.
I've sunk dozens of hours into Heroes of Hammerwatch and eagerly await the chance to spend dozens more. With numerous layers of progression systems, multiple distinct classes and more content than seems reasonable for its low price tag, Heroes of Hammerwatch is a must-play for roguelike fanatics or people after their dungeon-crawling fix.
Necrobarista is easily one of the best games so far this year and one of the greatest visual novels I've ever played.
PGA Tour 2K21 is a standout golfing experience in its own right that any fan, veteran or novice, can play to enjoy a golfing experience tailored for them.
A Short Hike is a tightly-crafted, charming, and heart-warming game that comes in a bite-sized package for a delightfully low price.
A super fun and addictive game, even for those who don't usually play real time tower defense games.
With dreadful driving controls, insufficient content and an egregious price tag, it's hard to recommend Fast & Furious Crossroads to anyone unless you are a die-hard Fast & Furious fan. Even then, wait for a steep sale.
A strong debut title from Ludic Studios and one to play on and off when you want a sword fight with no strings attached.
Varied items, engrossing gameplay and a killer soundtrack make Risk of Rain 2 one of the best roguelike shooters in recent years. The lack of a mid-game save feature and some uninspired environments hold this sequel back, but the astonishing translation from 2D to 3D more than makes up for it.
Spitlings is a colourful, crazy, hectic game that will have you laughing and probably yelling with your friends; this is a must-play party game. With one hundred different Spitlings to collect, will you get them all? Or will you surrender and bow down at the feet of your slime bubble overlords?
A unique rhythm based shoot-em-up game with a killer heavy metal soundtrack, detailed pixel characters and environments with tons of personality.
There's not really many ways of sugar coating it; this game is a mess on Xbox One and isn't worth your time. Surely any other fishing game would be worth considering if you have that urge.
Hellbound is a great experience. Although it does rely heavily on the DOOM aesthetic, Saibot Studios have created a core gameplay experience that could be the launchpad of something brilliant.
Tiny Racer looks like a super cool toy car driving game but the controls and crazy glitches make this game more frustrating than anything. Even the comic book "sound effect" words don't help it.
