Whilst these are great games, this isn’t a great collection. With almost no extras, very little tweaking of the games for the Switch and no Super Mario Galaxy 2 this just isn’t quite what I’d hoped for. I’m still enjoying the games, but for many people this won’t represent particularly great value. If you don’t already have the games then get it. If you do, you might want to give it some thought first.

It's a well made game but if you are a huge fan like myself then by order of the Peaky Blinders buy it.

7 / 10.0 - Nascar Heat 5
Sep 27, 2020

NASCAR aficionados will likely love getting more action where they can, especially with the cancellation of events due to the pandemic at this time, but those that like a more varied racer might want to look elsewhere. If you want to dip your toes in the NASCAR water though, and find out why it's more than just turning left, HEAT 5 could well be a good shout.

6.5 / 10.0 - Project CARS 3
Sep 26, 2020

A fun, casual arcade racer that has a decent chunk of a career mode to keep you busy with some fun aspects, let down by wonky AI and being placed into the wrong series of games making it really hard to recommend to either demographic of casual race fans or sim racers.

9 / 10.0 - Hotshot Racing

Beautiful looking, challenging racing game that recreates all the things you love about arcade racers. Great single and multiplayer experiences to be had here.

With just a few small additions, such as private matches and cross-play, this would quite simply become one of, if not the best party games available on current platforms. It can't be underestimated how difficult it is to create something quite so accessible and fun simultaneously.

This is a creepy horror game with an intriguing story that requires a lot of quick thinking and planning to avoid enemies and survive. Coma 2 is definitely not your usual run-and-gun survival type game!

7 / 10.0 - Isekai Quest
Sep 23, 2020

It's a bit of nonsense that doesn't cost much, and has more content coming post-launch. If you like match-3 games, there are more expensive ones out there, but there are also ones with more content.

No Straight Roads is a videogame first and foremost; and by videogame standards, this was a poor effort for such wasted potential.

Whilst Kill it With Fire is a short experience, there's still enough here to justify the budget asking price. It's the kind of game that you're unlikely to return to after having completed it, but you probably already expected that. It might not have the legs to be an epic saga, but if you want a few hours of silly enjoyment then you could do a lot worse than picking up this game.

7.5 / 10.0 - Yupitergrad
Sep 19, 2020

Yupitergrad serves as a proof of concept that you can have a fast-moving vertical platforming experience in the VR medium. Swinging and propelling your way around a massive space station completely fulfils a power fantasy that many adopters of VR have undoubtedly been seeking.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 remains true to the original with updated graphics and the original soundtrack. Occasionally cameras will struggle to find the right angle to follow the skater but this is a great game to play alone or with friends.

A solid, if slightly underwhelming remaster of an underappreciated gem of an action RPG. Well worth your time, especially if you missed out on it the first time around. Subtle visual tweaks but some more useful under-the-hood fiddling make it the definitive version of the game.

8.5 / 10.0 - Post Void

Post Void is an excellent mashup between classic DOOM and Hotline Miami that can take minutes to beat, but hours to master.

A great adaptation of the Samurai Jack cartoon, full of hack and slash action, cool weapons and a beautiful art style. Featuring an original story, even fans of the show never saw.

A fun and solid beat 'em up with some awesome speeder bike levels tossed in. Unfortunately, the game tries too hard to be funny and the character voices can get quite irritating.

8 / 10.0 - Desperados III
Sep 15, 2020

Desperados III is a great stealth tactic game with great graphics, music, voice acting, characters and story but can feel like a rehash of previous games made by the same developers.

6.5 / 10.0 - Mortal Shell
Sep 12, 2020

An engrossing combat system and numerous novel gameplay mechanics save what would have otherwise been merely a passable Dark Souls tribute from total mediocrity. Sadly, there's still too much harming the experience to justify a wholehearted recommendation. It ain't Souls and it certainly ain't polished, but it's not terrible either.

8 / 10.0 - Moon
Sep 12, 2020

Although it sometimes pushes the boundaries of adventurous puzzle solving too far, venturing into occasionally absurd degrees of vagueness, moon has generally stood the test of time, managing to still provide an inspired and novel romp through a perplexing world of quirky characters even after two decades.

An over-the-top arcade football title that's more frustrating and complicated than it ought to be. While it's clearly faithful to its source material, that's unlikely to convert newcomers to Captain Tsubasa.
