Critic Reviews for The Sims 4: Cottage Living
The Sims 4: Cottage Living is a gorgeous expansion that adds some of the best and most on-trend in-game items and experiences we've ever had, but it's come with that it seems are causing issues for pretty much everyone playing the game. There is a lot to do, a lot to see, but also a lot of glitches to fix in Henford-on-Bagley.
A nice DLC that adds new zones and activities, but lacks a bit more of farming simulation features.

The Sims 4 Cottage Living has the potential to become one of The Sims 4's essential Expansion Packs in the eyes of the community, forever altering gameplay like Seasons and Parenthood did. There is a lot to like about The Sims 4 Cottage Living, and with luck, Sims 4 fans will see more like it in the near future.
The world of Henford-On-Bagley is absolutely breathtaking and has such a fairy-like and whimsical charm. EA really did a wonderful job capturing the rustic vibe of the European countryside. There are a few flaws with inventory management and the relatively scant wardrobe options, but you can still really enjoy your time on the farm. Because honestly, what’s better than being able to hug and pet your cows and llamas!
A great location and the introduction of a few new gameplay elements make The Sims 4 Cottage Living an enjoyable but unessential add-on.
I've been playing Cottage Living for an hour or two each day for a week now, and still feel like I have a lot left to discover. There are plenty of quests, and I really like the laid back simple living feeling to the expansion. Caring for and dressing up my farm animals is an absolute delight. Cottage Living is a total home run in my opinion, if you're a fan of the game this is a must-have for your collection.
One of The Sims' most asked-for DLC has arrived for The Sims 4, and it does not disappoint. Cottage Living allows you to raise and care for chickens, cows, and llamas, as well as befriend wild animals. The new neighbourhood helps immerse you in full countryside living, as well as new activities, characters, and events.
The Sims 4: Cottage Living is definitely one of the best additions to the iconic game from EA Maxis. The creators finally listened to the players and thus released dlc, which every fan of the series should simply own.
