4.5 / 10.0 - CrossfireX
Feb 14, 2022

With a disappointingly short single-player and an unplayable multiplayer, CrossfireX doesn't bring much to the table. Even with some interesting parts in the story, the shortcomings of the game are much higher in number.

7.5 / 10.0 - Wytchwood
Feb 12, 2022

Cute, fun, and quite literally fetching; Wytchwood blends all of its elements together wonderfully, although there is little reason to play more once you conclude the 10–12 hours' worth of story.

8 / 10.0 - Infernax
Feb 11, 2022

Infernax is a great game that I highly recommend to anyone who loves challenging platformer games that sound and look great. Especially if you don't mind figuring out what needs to be done next and aren't disgusted by blood and gore.

6.5 / 10.0 - Void Slayer
Feb 11, 2022

Costing roughly the same as a box of nuggies (£3.99), Void Slayer is a reasonable arena shooter which fails to grasp the longevity tendrils of gamers. Good for short bursts but only if you're looking to scratch a very particular itch.

8 / 10.0 - Fatum Betula
Feb 9, 2022

As a player, Fatum Betula hosts fulfilling gameplay, rewarding exploration with an atmosphere of thick nostalgia and childhood fear. As a curator, it is a brief exploration into auteur theory, and that direction is never necessarily important, only context.

A massive time sink which needs an entire rainforest of sticks to shake at. Just grab it and jump in.

9 / 10.0 - MouseCraft
Feb 7, 2022

MouseCraft is a mix of two other great puzzle games, Lemmings and Tetris, that challenges your brain in an all new way. With great graphics and stages to complete, it's hard to not get addicted!

8.5 / 10.0 - OlliOlli World
Feb 7, 2022

OlliOlli World is a game that is full of personality and will challenge you to your core. It's hard, but a ton of fun and very rewarding, however I'm warning you, expect a lot of swearing!

9 / 10.0 - Sifu
Feb 6, 2022

A brilliant take on the roguelike genre, Sifu is a game that is hard to beat, but even harder to put down. Timing, patience, and skill will see you to fulfilling your goal and exacting that sweet revenge.

7.5 / 10.0 - Risk System
Feb 6, 2022

Risk System is a new take on a familiar genre, you are rewarded for being risky and taking chances. The game is challenging with boss battles that can feel unfair at times, making you want to give up.

With twists that coil around the player, solid puzzles, and shockingly-good characters, Deadly Device sparks another electrifyingly good outing for Nancy Drew. While there are a few negatives in how the environment is constructed, the positives overtake them to deliver a truly magnetic experience.

5 / 10.0 - Mr. Prepper
Feb 4, 2022

With a storyline that is clearly angry at western values, Mr. Prepper can do nothing but try and stand out with a story that comes at the sacrifice of compelling gameplay. The attempts to challenge with a forced playstyle may turn off potential window shoppers.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a great sequel to a pretty good game. With fun traversal mechanics, combat encounters, and agonising choices in the story, it could be very much worth the playtime.

9.5 / 10.0 - Not For Broadcast
Feb 1, 2022

Quite possibly the best FMV game ever, Not For Broadcast had me both laughing and scrambling in a panic when the channel's viewership dropped. Even if you've never had any interest in FMV games before, Not For Broadcast will surely change your mind.

Nova-111 is a fun turn-based puzzle game that looks super cute and works your brain but can feel slow and repetitive after a while.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is well worth your time, the story and in particular the characters are some of the most fleshed out and unique individuals that you can't help but grow attached to. The flashy yet deep combat system enhances what is already a fantastic JRPG. Any fan of the genre needs to check this out.

An interesting visual and audio design, ultimately let down by the shallow gameplay and poor controls.

3.5 / 10.0 - Blackwind
Jan 26, 2022

After great first impressions showcasing fun gameplay and interesting characters, it quickly becomes a fascinatingly bad example of mech combat, lacking feedback, foresight, and fair play. Unbelievably boring offensive capabilities, a nonsensical story, and hilarious voice acting which tries its best to stand out. Unfortunately, it isn't enough to stand out.

SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash is an incredibly addictive deck-building card game that has you collecting and fighting SNK and Capcom characters against each other. Making it look like you are playing on a Neo Geo is a neat touch but makes the game area very small making Switch hand-held mode quite hard.

7.5 / 10.0 - DYSMANTLE
Jan 25, 2022

DYSMANTLE is a dense survival adventure with many moving parts that come together very well for a tight experience, with a fun gameplay loop to get lost in. However, you can have too much of a good thing, and I think this can be the case over the very long run time of this game.
