Overall, Tokyo Tattoo Girls is a game with some interesting gameplay mechanics and a decent story, but with elements that might rub some people the wrong way. But if you're a fan of strategy games, you might be able to give this one a chance and play it on your PlayStation Vita since, in the end, it's definitely a nice looking and polished strategy game.

A Hole New World is a fun homage to old-school action platformers from back in the day, with solid gameplay mechanics, a good pixel art style and a considerable challenge. Other than a couple of specific spots in two stages in which the game's framerate slowed down considerably when things got too hectic, I didn't run into any major issues during my run. If you're looking for a hard but not unfair 2D adventure to take on then you should definitely check out A Hole New World on PlayStation 4.

Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is a solid point and click adventure game on the Nintendo Switch that feels right at home in this hybrid console. Having played the game once on PS4 and taking it for another spin on the Nintendo Switch allowed me to pick up on some details and nuances I didn't notice during my first run, so you should definitely take things slowly as you absorb what is going on in this post-apocalyptic adventure.

Brawlhalla in its current state is a fun affair with plenty of modes, characters and options for fighting locally and online for hours and hours. Due to the game's nature, it will continue to evolve and improve on its formula which each update, adding more Legends, more features and more game modes on a regular basis.

Overall really I liked the gameplay mechanics of Dimension Drive. It is clear that a lot of love, care and attention went into the game, and the game looks and feels like a project that took way more money to develop than the Kickstarter funding the studio secured.

CHAOS;CHILD is not a game that holds back – it has gritty, almost horror-like themes on offer, with casualties, loss and dead ends that get in the way.

I highly recommend that you get Dragon's Lair Trilogy. If you were a fan of the games back in the day you're going to love the HD versions and all the extras on the trilogy which give you a look at some of the behind the scenes work that went into building them. I loved to play the games in the arcade, and having them at home on PlayStation 4 brought back some great memories.

I definitely recommend that you get Party Planet on Nintendo Switch since it's a very fun and colorful party game that is great for playing with family and friends. The variety in games means there's certainly a game or two that some players will love above the rest, while also having a handful of favorites on the side.

Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King is a solid homage to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past which also improves on the formula and ends up doing its own thing. Lily's adventure is packed with several sidequest, plenty of enemies, lots of collectibles and a fun story, so you'll definitely be coming back for more and more until the end. A small adventure this is not, so expect to spent around 12-15 hours with the game, which makes the game definitely be worth its asking price. If you're looking for an epic and fun adventure on Nintendo Switch, then Blossom Tales: The Sleeping King is exactly what you need.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a great looking and fun puzzle/platformer you should definitely check out on Nintendo Switch. The game features a good challenge for players, and the hidden amulet pieces will require you to use all of your skills to reach them since they're usually hidden in out of reach spots or areas hidden by the camera until you're close enough to uncover the path that leads to them. I'd been looking forward to playing the game since the moment a port to Nintendo's hybrid console was announced, and I'm happy to report that the wait was worth it.

Echoes of the Fey: The Fox's Trail is a solid effort from Woodsy Studio that does a good job at setting up subsequent adventures in this magical land, and I definitely look forward to seeing where the studio takes the next entry in the series. If you're a fan of visual novels then you're doing to enjoy this one at home as it does some interesting things with its story that will keep you coming back for more.

SUPERBEAT: XONiC on Nintendo Switch is a solid rhythm game that fans of the genre should check out. The over 65 songs included with the main release, as well as the many more that will see a release as DLC, will keep you busy for a while with its varied mix and match of genres that, when taken as a whole, feel right for this release you can dance to as you play at home or on the go.

Perception is a release with a very interesting premise and a solid story that I'm sure you'll enjoy. Being blind and using echolocation to find your way around the creepy mansion feels great and the fact that danger could be lurking around the corner will keep you on high alert. Being able to turn the game into a full-on walking simulator with no danger or into a permadeath scare-fest is a nice touch, and it allows players of all skill levels to enjoy Perception on Nintendo Swtich.

Plague road is definitely worth your time on Nintendo Switch, and I'm glad that Arcade Distillery took the project to Kickstarter so that we could get a chance to play this one. The studio is back on Kickstarter with a new game called SkullPirates, which is already funded and working its way toward reaching some stretch goals, so hopefully you check that one out and show your support. And while you wait for SkullPirates to be completed, you should certainly play Plague Road!

Octodad: Dadliest Catch is a unique and fun game in which the awkward controls and the weird situations you find yourself in are part of the charm. The odd premise, the funky controls, the colorful graphics and the objectives to complete will keep you coming back for more from start to finish. The game might be a short one, but it's a fun one you have to experience on Nintendo Switch.
