We can't recommend My Brother Rabbit enough: the story itself is great as you take on everything that is going on in the fantasy world and the real world. You're in for a real treat with My Brother Rabbit. There are five chapters of fun, and it is a relaxing Platinum to earn, although some trophies are missable.

As someone who grew up playing a ton of choose your own adventure books, it's been great getting a chance to experience this particular story in what feels like a 3D board game come to life with fun turn-based battle mechanics in a release that both pays homage to the source material while doing its own thing.

7 / 10 - Planet Alpha
Sep 25, 2018

PLANET ALPHA is a gorgeous planet exploration game featuring a neat time manipulation mechanic that not everyone is going to enjoy. The game's presentation is top-notch, and the platforming and puzzle elements are fun, but the stealth sections are what might keep some from fully enjoying it.

Fans of JRPGs should definitely check this one out from Kadokawa Games. It doesn't have that compelling story as some other JRPGs have, but the simple yet deep combat system and accompanying customizations have more than what it takes to compensate and give you a fun game to spend a lot of hours on.

7 / 10 - Claybook
Sep 21, 2018

Developer Second Order have come up with something that's really impressive for an in-house developed technology for the physics handling of the clay. This game might feel more like an extended tech demo to some, but for a couple of bucks, it'll be worth playing. And hopefully, the future will give us a more complete game that makes use of that technology, which could surely provide a whole lot of fun.

The Gardens Between feels right at home on the Nintendo Switch, allowing you to play in short bursts or in one go at home or on the go. The game looks great on the TV and on the Nintendo Switch, and the way the game is presented and how you interact with each small island you explore means that there is no slowdown or weird graphical artifact that would get in the way of enjoying this charming and short puzzle adventure. I highly recommend that you download The Gardens Between so that you can dive into its colorful and enticing world.

Unscored - Awkward
Sep 19, 2018

Awkward is a game that asks about your opinions on certain things, and while you will get some pretty ordinary questions, a lot of them are going to be downright rude, dirty or downright awkward. Some will make you laugh out loud, while others will definitely start some heated arguments.

Downward Spiral: Horus Station is an interesting first-person exploration game that offers PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR options so that all can play. As I mentioned before, if you're playing on PlayStation 4 you should go with the Explore option for your run with the game, and if you're playing with a PlayStation VR unit, you should take on the Engage option for a different experience that feels at home on Sony's virtual reality system.

Azure Reflections is a short and colorful bullet hell shoot ‘em up on PlayStation 4. It has a handful of stages and a couple of extra stages that you can unlock by beating the main campaign while playing on higher difficulties, so there's definitely some replay value, and you can also aim at unlocking extra costumes for your characters. I would have liked to see a progression system for this one, perhaps with a skill tree of sorts, but that's just from personal preference.

Fill-a-Pix: Phil's Epic Adventure is a solid puzzle game on PlayStation 4 that does a lot of things right and not much wrong. I has a lot of content, mixes Picross with Minesweeper and adds some extra twists on top, and is a delight to play on PlayStation 4. If you're into puzzles then you're going to love this one as you try and solve the dozens of puzzles it has to offer. Download it today!

Developer Spotlightor Interactive have created a pretty unique and fun puzzle platformer with Candleman. It's fun from start to finish and is accessible to gamers of about any level as the difficulty is far from being too challenging. At $20 the price might be a bit steep for its length, but you'll enjoy every dollar you spent on this one, which is why it's great that Zodiac Interactive brought this one to the PlayStation 4

Immortal: Unchained is a fun and challenging third-person action RPG Souls-like on PS4 that you're going to enjoy if you're a fan of this new genre. There is no difficulty setting so all players need to be on high alert as they explore each area, so that death is not as frequent and you can start to build up a powerhouse with the bits you collect to upgrade the Prisoner so that you can save the universe!

Beekyr Reloaded is a fun and to the point shoot ‘em up with a solid art style and a soundtrack that matches the action. It's a very colorful release where you will fly all over the place as you destroy anything foolish enough to stand in your way, traversing backdrops full of grass, trees, branches and more – the stuff you'd expect to find when going outdoors to a park. Check out Beekyr Reloaded from Kaleido Games and Akaoni Studio on Nintendo Switch!

8 / 10 - The Wardrobe
Sep 10, 2018

The Wardrobe is a hilarious game, and so far it's the best point and click game I have played this year. The game just oozes charm from start to finish, and I couldn't put it down until I had beaten it. And when I was done, I was certainly ready for more, so here's hoping we get a sequel!

If you've played the first two episodes in the trilogy, then getting the third and last one is pretty much a no-brainer, since you definitely want to experience the end of the series! But if you've yet to try this great looking, funny, entertaining and charming trio of adventure games, I'm here to let you know that you should definitely dive in. All-Star Fruit Racing is a fun and colorful kart racer on PlayStation 4 that is a lot of fun to play, especially with family members or friends. It's not as deep or has as much content as the current reigning champion – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – but it does some fun things that will be a blast for you to experience.
