For me, however, there were too much over-sexualization of the main female characters which eventually warded me off, but if this is what you’re looking for, you’ll have a lot for your money
Hardway Party is a fun arcade-style game
Bleep Bloop is a game that you can finish in a few hours depending on your expertise with puzzle games, and it's a fun experience until the end.
Although not perfect and relatively short, Stereo Aereo is a lot of fun for a rhythm game that can provide incredible replay value if you aim at the platinum.
The first episode in this last season was a good one, as we got to see an older and wiser clementine as a badass teenager who was taking care of AJ as much as AJ was watching her back, and the gameplay changes that made the exploration segments more fun while also allowing everything to look a lot better – in part by the new third-person perspective and in part thanks to the new graphics art style.
Shift Happens is a fun puzzle game with colorful graphics and character design that oozes charm. There is a nice variety of puzzles that keep things feeling fresh so that you don't end up doing the same puzzle style over and over again. The amount of content is brilliant, and depending on your skill level, you're looking at 8-12 hours to complete everything the game has to offer. The two characters offer a lot of smart abilities for solving puzzles, and the puzzles themselves are very creative, giving your brain a decent workout.
Mech Rage is a challenging game, even on normal difficulty, but it's an overall fun but short experience. You will need to plan your moves and how you approach each room in the game if you want to stay alive because enemies can easily overwhelm you as soon as you make a mistake. The good news is that even if you die, you can respawn in the same room so that you can learn from what you did wrong and carry on until the end. Some levels have minor puzzle and platforming elements, which is something I'd like to see the development team expand on for a potential sequel or even for extra content for this one.
Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season – Done Running hits the ground running, giving us a revamped and greatly improved take on a formula they've now perfected for an adventure that makes us care even more about Clementine in her new role as the one taking care of AJ in full.
Johnny Turbo's Arcade: Heavy Burger is a game that you're going to enjoy more if you can get some human friends to sit down for some fun local multiplayer mayhem. The AI bots do a nice job of keeping things going, but having human teammates and opponents is when the game truly shines. It's weird, it's hectic, and it's fun, so be sure to give this one a go on Nintendo Switch
8-Bit Armies is a fun distilled RTS experience on PlayStation 4 that has plenty of single player and multiplayer content for you to enjoy. The game is easy to get the hang of, as you split your units into group, build structures to open the way for you to build other structures and create new units so that you can keep your enemies at bay before you can go on the offensive. It's a solid entry in the genre, and one you're going to enjoy.
I love this type of puzzle game, and Pic-a-Pix Pieces had me playing for hours and hours as I took con completing each of the pieces to the larger images, as I aimed to complete all of them without using the fit option so that I could get that shiny gold medal for the final image. I'll definitely be getting the two DLC packs since more puzzles is exactly what I'll want to play as soon as I finish the last one included in the main game. Go buy Pic-a-Pix Pieces!
Developers Friend & Foe wanted to give freedom to the players with Vane, and on that aspect, they succeeded. Unfortunately for me, this also became a major disappointment, as there was maybe a bit too much freedom to properly lead me through the story and through the experience it should’ve been.
