Inksplosion is a fun twin-stick arcade-style shooter on Nintendo Switch that lures you in with the “one more go” addictive of arcade releases, as you aim to beat your own highscore or to progress further in the game as you learn new tricks and basically get better at it. Be sure to check it out!

Lode Runner Legacy is a must-have game for both those new to the series as well as for fans of the long-running series. The game offers a ton of levels split in different modes, and being able to create your own stages, as well as play those created by players around the world, make this a must-buy game on Nintendo Switch.

Shape of The World is exactly what I was expecting: a fun and relaxing exploration game with a soothing soundtrack and a charming art style presented with a nice pallet of colors that invite you to stay in this adventure from start to finish. After waiting for the game for a while, I can certainly say that the wait has been worth it.

8 / 10 - Lanota
Aug 9, 2018

Lanota is a fun music rhythm game with a nice storytelling component that brings the whole package together under a fantasy setting. The different difficulty options, the speed settings, and how you can play all songs in either Tune or Purify depending on your skill level and experience with rhythm games make it possible for all types of players to enjoy this Nintendo Switch release, even if you can only play the game while in Handheld mode.

Yoku's Island Express is a very fun pinball/Metroidvania that you should check out on Nintendo Switch. The colorful art style and the great level design, mixed with the pinball mechanics and the Metroidvania side of things, make this a very entertaining release that everyone can enjoy, even those who are not a fan of full-on pinball games. Villa Gorilla HAS certainly found a creative way of presenting a new type of game, and one I'm sure you're going to like.

9 / 10 - Mugsters
Aug 8, 2018

Reinkout Games have created a pretty fun and unique experience with Mugsters. The concept and objectives are simple, yet challenging at times as you'll have to test out every way you can to get to your objectives. It's one of those games that you start playing without any expectations, but end up spending hours on it because it's incredibly fun and addictive. I'm happy that Team17 helped to publish this game on PS4 since it's a blast!

8 / 10 - Unravel Two
Aug 7, 2018

I liked playing through Unravel Two with my daughter, and if you're into playing gorgeous couch co-op games, then you're certainly in for a treat since this is a very good puzzle platformer. The game is roughly 4-5 hours long, and is fun to play with friends or family members, so I definitively recommend this release.

9 / 10 - Overcooked 2
Aug 7, 2018

Like I mentioned, I loved and platinumed Overcooked, and I WILL Platinum Overcooked 2 as well thanks to the help of my daughter who's been enjoying the game as much as I have. So far this year, this is my best couch multiplayer game I've played, and I definitely recommend that you to purchase this game, so that we can eventually get an Overcooked 3!

8 / 10 - Figment
Aug 6, 2018

Figment is a clever, fun, charming, and great looking adventure on Nintendo Switch that you should definitely play. The game might be a tad linear, but that only means you won't be taking on any unnecessary side-quests that could distract you from the story and your main objective: saving this mind from the nightmares. The game's hand-drawn look, the rhythmic sounds that will complement the action and welcome you to each new area you visit, and the funny songs that are showcased during boss fights will keep you coming back for more until you complete this 6-8 hour journey.

8 / 10 - Insane Robots
Aug 6, 2018

Insane Robots is a strategy game with simplified gameplay mechanics, which isn't a bad thing since the challenge is still there as you juggle your energy and deck to try to outsmart your opponents. Playing against the AI or against online opponents is a blast, and there are plenty of trophies to unlock on your road towards adding a new Platinum trophy to your collection.

The game's graphics are stylized and a bit on the cartoony side, similar to what we saw for The Walking Dead series from Telltale Games, giving the game a very interesting look that makes everything pop. The game's setting and the very serious topic is something that all should experience in this action/adventure take on the events surrounding the 1979 Iranian revolution.

In the end, Blindflug Studios have created a nice and really enjoyable little gem in Airheart. It's fun, addictive, and blends in together two genres in a nice way that provides a different experience from the usual shoot 'em up games available on Ps4. If twin-stick shooters are your thing, and you like some roguelike in your shoot 'em up, then you should definitely try this one!

9 / 10 - Bomb Chicken
Aug 1, 2018

Bomb Chicken is a very fun release on Nintendo Switch that I highly recommend. It's clever and does things differently from other platformers on Nintendo's hybrid console, and the art style, enemy design, the setup of each stage and the difficulty curve are top notch. The game might be short, with around 3 to 4 hours of content if you want to 100% it, which might rub some of you the wrong way with its $14.99 asking price, but trust me, it's worth every penny since this one is all killer no filler.

8 / 10 - Pool Panic
Jul 30, 2018

Pool Panic is a single-player and multiplayer release on Nintendo Switch that is a lot of fun. Its art style, quirky gameplay mechanics and the great variety of “pool tables” you'll be taking on will keep you busy for a long time, especially if you want to 100% the game. The game is available digitally for only $14.99 and is certainly worth the price of admission.

9 / 10 - Golf Story
Jul 29, 2018

It took me about 20 hours to complete the game, and boy was it worth it! The game has a fun story with great characters which will make you laugh and connect with them. The golf mechanics, aside from putting, were great, and the game is packed to the brim with lots of content and extra things to do. This game is an easy one to recommend to fellow Nintendo Switch owners since it's one of the must-have

Happy Birthdays is a very colorful and highly addictive game in which you can experience a condensed version of the evolutionary process that has gotten us to this point in history – you know, minus the dragons and other mythical creatures. Having played the PlayStation 4 version for review, and after playing this new and revised version for the Nintendo Switch, I'm happy to report that it feels and plays great when playing at home or in Portable or Tabletop mode. This is a game that, in my opinion, is definitely worth a double dip, especially since you now get to enjoy it everywhere and at any time.

The game feels rushed and a bit unfinished At its core, it's got some good mechanics, but there is not enough content on offer between the career and exhibition modes, and the fact that it's hard to find other players online. I think this could be a more polished product with some updates.
