I liked Ultra Hyperball, but your mileage may vary. The single player campaign can be completed in a couple of hours at most if you're trying to get silver or gold medals for all stages, but the Co-Op and Battle modes greatly increase the game's replay value. If you have 1-3 friends to join in on the activities, the mayhem that will follow will more than make this a good option for your collection. But if you don't like the repetitive nature of the game, then you certainly won't enjoy its dozens of stages.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below is a very addictive game. While it is a bit repetitive due to the nature of its gameplay, it never stops being fun. I definitely recommend giving this a go since I'm sure you'll have fun with this nice twist on the formula. And if you like it, be sure to pick up its sequel as well!

I had a lot of fun with Super Rude Bear Resurrection. After the tutorial in which it teaches you the basics, the game will not hold your hand at all. You'll need to learn from a lot of trial and error as you try to find the best solution to each of the tricky hazard-packed areas in the game. Since every time you die you leave behind a corpse, players of all skill levels will eventually be able to get to the exit. If you're looking for a challenging release on PS4, you're definitely going to love Super Rude Bear Resurrection.

Infinite Golf lives up to its name as there are infinite possibilities thanks to the Editor and its course creation tools. With so many players in all platforms contributing more and more courses for the game, you could spend years playing new courses every single day! This is a game I highly recommend, and which will hopefully soon be even better once Zen Studios adds support for PS Move controllers.

Overall, Amnesia Collection is a great option on PlayStation 4 since it includes more than enough content for its asking price, and it will surely delight fans of the horror genre. If you want to see how the team refined their craft on their way to creating SOMA, then be sure to give this collection a go!

8 / 10 - Baboon!
Aug 11, 2017

I had a lot of fun with Baboon! Its short levels with an arcade style of gameplay, charming and colorful story, the many medals to obtain, all the items up for purchase and those you can obtain from quests will keep you busy for a while. The boost to the game's visual and performance from its original PS Vita release are noticeable, making this the definitive version of the game.

9 / 10 - SUPERHOT (VR)
Aug 10, 2017

SUPERHOT VR has everything a game needs. It has plenty of action which you get to control at your own pace, like a badass. It is fun with a clever minimalist look that keeps you focused on the gameplay, and it offers a lot of replay value. These are great qualities for any video game, but they're even more important for a PlayStation VR release. This is a must-have for Sony's virtual reality hardware, so be sure to grab it today!

8 / 10 - Kid Tripp
Aug 9, 2017

Kid Tripp is a very fun release on Nintendo 3DS. Its autorunner nature might sub some people the wrong way, but the fact that each of its levels has been handcrafted instead of being procedurally generated makes a big difference. Trial and error will allow you to learn a level's layout little by little as you die from all the enemies and hazards on your path, allowing you to get better as you go. The game is very entertaining on 3DS and should be just as fun on the Nintendo Switch when it releases later in the year.

5 / 10 - Vaccine
Aug 8, 2017

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Vaccine on the Nintendo Switch. Sure, it's certainly a novelty to release a game in 2017 with the looks and control mechanics of something from back in 1996, but the game feels as if it would have benefited from a couple of extra months of fine tuning.

I truly loved this game. As soon as the intro cutscene started, I was hooked – and that was even before the tutorial (that you should definitely play, as it contains some major story elements)!

9 / 10 - Firewatch
Aug 6, 2017

All in all, I loved playing through Firewatch and ended up finishing it in a single epic 4-hour long session that ended at almost 2 a.m. I highly recommend this purchase to gamers looking for a different experience from your usual gaming sessions.

Graphically this experience is one of the best out there. The team's attention to detail is superb, and it helps to bring the game's settings to life thanks to its cinematic approach and what PlayStation VR can do. Sure, the controls feel a bit clunky every now and then, but the game's solid story and the overall experience more than make up for it. There isn't much replayability after you're done, but this is one of the better games for Sony's virtual reality hardware, so be sure to give it a go.

9 / 10 - Sundered
Aug 3, 2017

Sundered is a very fun and gorgeous game on PlayStation 4. It is not without faults since its loading times are long and the framerate stutters here and there, but the overall package is something you'll enjoy. There's more content on its way thanks to the DLC the team is working on, which will be free for those who backed the Kickstarter campaign, so I look forward to seeing what the team will be adding.

Technical glitches and general movement annoyances are embedded into the DNA of the game, and it really dulls the overall experience of what could be a good title. The problems literally ripple throughout the game and betray any form of fun from what is, quite honestly, a rather lovely looking game.

I enjoyed my time with Echoes of the Fey: The Fox's Trail, and I look forward to seeing what the team does with subsequent episodes.

In the end, if you're looking for a fun game to play and love point and click adventures, then you'll be having a good time with Demetrios: The BIG Cynical Adventure. It has a great story, some incredible visuals, and a lot of funny collectibles that you'll want to find to see all the ways Bjorn can fail at his "mission"!

8 / 10 - Archangel
Jul 28, 2017

All in all, Archangel is an impressive on rails shooter that feels right at home on PlayStation VR. I initially thought the game was not going to be something I'd dig, but its immersive storytelling and action combo kept me busy until the end. Skydance Interactive have done a great job with this one, and I honestly can't wait to see what they develop next.

Right now there is a distinct lack of this type of game in the PlayStation vR lineup, with most companies leaning toward the "experience" type of releases, which isn't a bad thing per se, instead of focusing on how creativity can innnovate in gameplay thanks to what the virtual reality hardware can offer. So if you're looking for a clever, colorful and fun puzzler on PS VR, you should definitely try Fantastic Contraption!

There are also some nice touches to the game like the duels mini-game and the debates you can take part of. There is a lot on offer and a ton to learn from the main game, but if you're a fan of the series, then you're going to love Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII. I am greatly enjoying my time with the game, so I can easily recommend it. And if you like the main game, then check soon for my review for the available DLC: the Fame and Strategy Expansion Pack!

We both had fun with Warlocks vs. Shadows. After playing the game for a while, trying the characters, leveling up and improving their skills, we still came back for more. Some of you might feel it's a bit repetitive, but the overall enemy variety, leveling up system and looting system make for a fun 2D experience.
