Rogue Stormers is beautiful to look at, and its fast-paced music really fits the game’s energetic presentation. The permanent upgrades are a nice change from how the usual permadeath mechanics quick in for roguelike releases. The more you play, the better you’ll get at defeating everything the game throws at you. I definitely liked my time with the game for my Rogue Stormers review, and hopefully you wil as well!

In the end, I can highly recommend you buy this title. I loved my time with the game to write this Yomawari: Night Alone Review – it’s creepy looks, atmosphere and sounds are something you have to experience. And if you really want to have fun with the game, be sure to play at night, in the dark, with your headphones on. Trust me on this one – you’ll thank me later!

9 / 10 - Lost Sea
Oct 24, 2016

The team clearly worked hard to make Lost Sea the best game it could be, and I’m here to confirm that they achieved their goal. The cel-shaded look is great for this one, and the gameplay mechanics are fun and will keep you coming back for more. I had a ton of fun doing my Lost Sea review and I will continue going back to the game as I aim to add that Platinum trophy to my collection!

8 / 10 - 140
Oct 20, 2016

My only gripe with this game was that there is no pausing, which I suppose is not necessary as there are only three short levels with three bosses and depending on your skill you could be done in about an hour or so. 140 is a lot of fun, and if you liked SoundShapes you should love this one. I highly recommend it despite its difficulty because it kept me very happy and busy as I wrote my 140 review, and when a short game grabs you, its always a blast!

8 / 10 - Nebulous
Oct 18, 2016

The game definitely started out very easy so that I could get a feel for what it expected me to do, and before the first galaxy was over, I was already juggling several panels as I tried to rush to implement the right solution so that I could get a three-star rating for the level by completing it in the least number of attempts as possible while quickly grabbing all the stars. After writing this Nebulous review, I can say I’ve had fun with the game and that my puzzle skills have been tested to their limit by this tricky space puzzler you should play on PS4.

The art style is similar to that of Lone Survivor, so if you have played and loved that game, you will love Claire: Extended Cut. They also share a creepy atmosphere, and a theme of loneliness. Having played both games, I would say Claire: Extended Cut is probably slightly creepier and scarier than Lone Survivor, but both are great games. I greatly enjoyed playing the game for my Claire: Extended Cut review, and I can easily recommend this one for you.

The game includes a Platinum trophy, and a full run requires playing through with all available characters in the Campaign and Arcade modes. As expected, there are also some online trophies thrown in the mix to keep you busy. Playing this game for my Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet review was certainly a nice change of pace from the other games I’ve been reviewing lately, and I highly recommend that you give it a go.

As you can tell by now, I greatly enjoyed my time with the game and plan to go back to it now that my Alone With You review has been completed. The attention to detail, great characters and fun gameplay mechanics make this a must-have game for your collection.

8 / 10 - Brut@l
Oct 11, 2016

I wasn’t expecting to have so much fun with the game, but as soon as I stated playing for my Brut@l review I realized that this is a very addictive arcade-style release that can easily keep you going for “one more level” until you realize it’s extremely late at night and you should probably get some sleep.

9 / 10 - Metrico +
Oct 10, 2016

The PS4 version is certainly much better than the Vita version – for me, the tilt functionality in particular just didn't feel right on Sony's portable. Thanks to the DualShock 4, the controls are flawless. All in all you're looking at around eight hours or so to complete all levels in the game, and several extra hours on top of that if you want to get every single trophy, including its coveted Platinum. I greatly enjoyed my time with the game for my Metrico+ review, and I look forward to going back to it to complete the pending challenges I have as I work towards the Platinum trophy!

I enjoyed playing it for my Children of Arkham review, and I’m not only waiting for the next episode but also hoping that a second season is in the cards because I’m loving what Telltale Games is doing with the Batman franchise.

Unholy Heights is a fun little tower defense game containing sim elements. Ceidz noticed that some of its gameplay mechanics were confusing at first. While getting new residents into the mansion was fun, the overall novelty of the game might not be for everyone. We hope that our Unholy Heights review helps you to decide if this is the right game for you, because it might be perfect for your gaming taste. If you’re into tower defense games, then this may be right down your alley.

Criminal Girls 2: Party Favors was quite a surprise, turning out to be a far better JRPG than we initially thought. The battle system and the core mechanics are near perfect, and there was nothing getting in our way of enjoying the game. We mentioned that the boss fights were a bit long to beat, but this isn’t a deal breaker and will definitively please some gamers. The game is fully voice acted with Japanese audio and is subtitled in English text.

I greatly enjoyed my time with the game. As I wrote this 10 Second Ninja X review, I kept replaying each level over and over again until I managed to get a three-star rating on each level. Due to its arcade nature and how levels are 10 seconds long, this game will keep you coming back for more, as you play each level “just one more time” as you search for the perfect route.

9 / 10 - Rive
Oct 3, 2016

I had a ton of fun with the game as I wrote my RIVE review. The campaing is roughly 6-8 hours long and is very dependant on skill – if you choose to drop down to Soft mode you can complete the game a little faster. The game is fun, fast-paced and looks great, and you should all go out and add it to your collection to reward Two Tribes for all of their hard work.

9 / 10 - Pharaonic
Sep 29, 2016

Pharaonic is a visually stunning game with an art style that just makes everything pop – lots of colors and great attention to detail. I really enjoyed playing the game for my Pharaonic review, even if it’s a challenging release. A full trophy count plus a shiny platinum is yours for the taking if you think you’re good enough to handle the challenge. Are you ready?

9 / 10 - Filthy Lucre
Sep 28, 2016

The game is a lot of fun. My only niggle is that the loading times are a bit on the slow side, but it’s not a deal-breaker. Being able to play on your own or in couch or online co-op definitely adds value to this release. Writing my Filthy Lucre review as I unlocked trophies here and there was very rewarding, since this one has a full trophy count with a shiny Platinum that can be yours in around 12-14 hours, give or take a bit.

Episode 8: A Journey’s End? was great, and it concludes the Minecraft: Story Mode Adventure Pass expansion perfectly. After eight episodes spanning a year, I’ll really miss the adventures of Jesse and his crew. Oh, and the after credits scene is hilarious! It really made my time with this episode for this A Journey’s End review even more memorable.
