What Giant Squid did here was nothing short of incredible.
My best recommendation is to wait on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Here we are, playing the next Spider-Man game with a new character and everything is different. Yet the same.
The Falconeer flies its own path, hampered by sometimes frustrating controls, unforgiving difficulty and a simplistic mission structure.
Unfortunately, Godfall will become an example of what happens to a game when you rush it, knowing that it isn’t ready for market.
With Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Ubisoft has given me another pair of the super comfortable shorts I’ve grown accustomed to, but with a few welcomed changes. Very few.
While Watch Dogs 1 and 2 were very good games, they felt like a collection of good ideas that never fully melded. With Legion, it feels as though the third time was the charm.
I don’t know how it’s possible, but I love and hate this game all at once.
Though I felt some aspects of the game could’ve been improved on slightly, Foregone still delivers a challenging, frantic and enjoyable experience that shouldn’t be missed.
The last game I can remember that had this kind of immersion was X-Wing: Alliance for the PC back in 1999. Motive Studios had a daunting task tackling a game that Star Wars fans have been craving for a long time. And for the most part, they stay on target.
One of our favorite games of the year
I spent about 20 hours with Mafia and it left me wanting more. So much in fact, that I started to download Mafia 3 while I was writing this. Just when I thought I was out, they keep pulling me back in.
So, all in all, Tell Me Why is a fun, story-telling video game with memorable protagonists.
The Timberland did a fantastic job at grasping my initial attention to uncover its dark secrets, but I felt quite relieved to check out as soon as I could.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is one of the greatest remakes we’ve seen this generation.
Even in its current state, the game is still fantastic. It has great combat and a solid story mixed with humor and a super high replay value that will keep you coming back for more.
There really isn’t another Star Wars game like it and this is as close as you’ll probably get to realizing your dreams of becoming a Jedi.
Darkestville Castle doesn’t deliver anything new to this classic genre, nor does it need to. A fun, well written, over the top and ridiculous story, fronted by one of the more memorable protagonists I have played in some time.
Lost Wing is a simple game that takes the genre that is rather dull and adds a ton of flare.
Quebec City based developers, Cradle Games, didn’t hold back showing where the roots and inspiration behind their recent title, Hellpoint, had originated. As someone who has sunk A LOT of hours into the Dark Souls games, I was pretty excited to see what this one had to offer, and if it was worthy enough to be placed among the ranks of this newer ‘genre’.
