A journey that affects the entire emotional spectrum and that makes us reflect far beyond the final texts. But above all, an experience that once again confirms Hideo Kojima's position as one of the foremost and most multifaceted artists in this industry.

Forza Horizon 5 is a further development of everything we loved about part four. The races are crazier, the cars more and the exploration more dynamic than ever before. Some elements are on repeat, but still manage to feel fresh thanks to the change of scenery. An adrenaline-filled experience no one should miss, simply.

That Horizon: Forbidden West takes the best parts from the acclaimed Horizon: Zero Dawn and makes them even better was expected. Somewhat more unexpectedly, even the weaker links of one are greatly improved, which together with new elements and sources of inspiration leads to an excellent adventure that makes both the predecessor and most other games in the genre fade.

With the best parts from Gran Turismo Sport and a comeback for the classic Gran Turismo fighting shark, the seventh part of the Gran Turismo series promises plenty. Add to that new game modes, even better control and magical lighting effects. Although the realistic surroundings and a couple of small competitions can make it tedious on the track sometimes, Gran Turismo 7 is the most complete and elaborate car game until then.

For those of you who grew up with Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Quest for Glory and all the other great point and click games of the 90s, Return to Monkey Island is a pure joy to play. Purchase! You won't regret it. Return to Monkey Island does most things right and hopefully this is the first of more new Monkey Island games (directed by Ron Gilbert).

Grounded is a cozy and scary game at the same time. One moment we explore the exciting world and gather material for our base in peace and quiet, and the next we panic when a huge bloodthirsty spider wants to sink its teeth into us.

Mostly, however, we have praise to pour over Pentiment. The game is the stylistically most beautiful adventure of the year, while also feeling both intelligent and passionately built. It's undeniably an odd bird that's likely to find the right niche audience. For just over SEK 200 on Steam and considering that it is included in Xbox Game Pass, we encourage all curious people to take a closer look at the game.

When the God of War saga debuts on Playstation 5, we're treated to an epic adventure that thunders on with strong characters, bombastic scenes, beautiful views and masterful battles. At the same time, it's a slightly too faithful sequel where it's noticeable that the roots are partly stuck in technology from 2013. Ultimately, Ragnarök is a worthy sequel and an excellent action game, but certainly we had hoped for a little more.

With the third game in the Xenoblade saga, Monolith Soft outperforms themselves and delivers one of the best Japanese role-playing games ever, regardless of format. While the adventure is weighed down by some unnecessary padding, complicated subtleties and technology that sometimes becomes too much for the Switch – it's hard not to be totally captured by the exciting and moving journey.

Not without it's flaws, but Final Fantasy XV is a fantastic comeback for the series and a beautiful love letter to the fans of the series. With a mix of open world, hectic combat and engaging characters – this is the Final Fantasy we have been waiting for.

After over seven years it feels surrealistic to finally play The Last Guardian. Has it been worth the wait? No idea – some players will complain about the unpolished controls, the graphics and the bad camera angels. On the other hand the story is beautiful and the world is as stunning as it was in Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. For us, this is one of the best adventures in the recent years.

Some sluggish controls aside, Darkest Dungeon is as good as it ever has been. One of the most rewarding (and frustrating) adventure games in a long time.

Civilization is still one of the most addicted series in gaming, and the new installment offers some really interesting addition. The sometimes stupid AI is a bit of a letdown, though.

Forza Horizon 3 offers glorious graphics, big variation and cleaver online implementation. It might not be the perfect racing game, but are you a fan of the previous games in the series it’s a no-brainer.

8 / 10 - Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 is everything that Watch Dogs was supposed to be. San Fransisco is the place to be with stunning environments and self distance that is hard to not love.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is not as fresh as The Stick of Truth, but for fans of South Park it's a must-buy. The story is interesting enough to make you eager of what's coming up next, and the battle system has improved.

If you haven't play Skyrim before, Special Edition is the version to get. It's a lazy remake though that still contains minor but frustrating bugs.

While the mechanics is pretty much the same as the previous Skylanders games, Imaginators lets you be far more creative. With better gameplay and more colorful graphics, and this is one of the best installments in the series so far.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is a somewhat odd addition to the Call of Duty franchise. The online multiplayer does not offer any notable improvements, and the zombie mode is a fun romp but nothing more. On the other hand, the game offers an impressive single player campaign that feels fresh and interesting. If you want a great sci-fi game this is the one to get.
