A survival horror that lacks everything - atmosphere, narrative and gameplay - despite the original source material.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a more than decent return for BioWare's fantasy series, thanks mainly to a compelling storyline and a good combat system. However, the graphic compartment, the lack of RPG depth, and very repetitive gameplay gimmicks contribute to lowering the final rating.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a respectful remake of the original, which manages to modernize it and keep its charm, while giving up the peculiarities of the Wiimote for obvious reasons. The original Epic Mickey was an imperfect game but one that deserved this second life, to be appreciated and known by a new and wider audience without some of its annoying flaws such as the camera. Congrats to Purple Lamp for this and who knows, maybe now it might be the turn of the unfortunate sequel, there the challenge would be even greater, or perhaps it would be better to say epic.

Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town is an adventure with childlike tones and a deliberately monotonous pace that aims to recreate the carefree atmosphere that many associate with their childhood summers. Undoubtedly designed for a very young audience, it forgoes some of the original work's strengths to package an aesthetically enchanting adventure, but perhaps a little too poor in terms of gameplay.

A welcome generational transition that elevates the staples of the 1993 classic. A must for fans.

Shadows of Doubt is not an investigative experience I would recommend to everyone. Still, if you love gritty, procedural, and remarkably free games in their approach, you can't miss it.

A charming tribute to Studio Ghibli, Europa captivates with its melancholic atmosphere and beautiful scenery. A contemplative and relaxing experience, perfect for those seeking a poetic and reflective journey.

For being the first current-gen game in the NHL series, the result is bittersweet: there have been undeniable steps forward in both graphics, simulation and gameplay, but the same cannot be said on the content and mode side. EA Vancouver probably needed more courage and time to come up with something new: for now, NHL 25 still remains a prisoner of its glorious past.

Nintendo has delivered one of the best Mario Party games ever thanks to a truly generous amount of content, and that couple of gimmicks that are perhaps not essential or revolutionary, yet capable of delighting those who prefer single player experiences. If you love party games, Jamboree is a must.

An adventure with a strong emphasis on narrative, plagued by a far from optimal technical side but more engaging than you might believe.

A more than decent (but not perfect) VR transposition for the fun and hellish rhythm shooter from Lab42 Games and The Outsiders, which even in this new version proves to have character, even if the flaws of two years ago are back as they were.

While it adheres to genre fundamentals, Neva distinguishes itself through high artistic quality and a simple yet impactful story. The chapter and level design maintains a brisk pace, avoiding repetitive situations that could weaken the overall experience. This skillful management of time and style allows Neva to shine despite its brief duration.

Arco tells a compelling story with minimal dialogue. Leveraging a few well-chosen mechanics, the game immerses players in a world where every interaction and item matters, and each battle decision carries weight. The turn-based tactical combat is challenging yet fair, encouraging strategic thinking without causing frustration. It's a gem worth experiencing.

Inspired by great classics of the past, SKALD isn't just fueled by nostalgia but is a proper good CRPG in its own right, one that fans of the genre should probably consider playing.

There was no need for a remake of Until Dawn, especially at this price. However, the graphical upgrade is undeniable, and the new free camera allows for greater exploration.

An expansion that will not attract new players. Those who loved the main game could gain some entertainment from Shattered Space, but it's hard to give high praise for minimum effort.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a narrative-engaged RPG with a familiar and well-structured DNA. A few flaws here and there don't undermine its solid foundations.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is an excellent game that shines in every aspect and pays homage in the best possible way to the cornerstone game of psychological horror.

Without spoiling too much, I'll just say that I would've liked a different, more compelling epilogue to the expansion's storyline, but the new spiritborn class is still a nice addition to the formula and there are plenty of content to enjoy during your stay in Nahantu, if you enjoy some more Diablo IV.
