Without spoiling too much, I'll just say that I would've liked a different, more compelling epilogue to the expansion's storyline, but the new spiritborn class is still a nice addition to the formula and there are plenty of content to enjoy during your stay in Nahantu, if you enjoy some more Diablo IV.

G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra is a decent fighting game reminiscent of the classic arcades of the 90s, just without all of the evolution displayed by its modern rivals.

A good idea that unfortunately can't stand on its legs on its own. Funny in short bursts, but also unfathomably tied to online play despite the presence of bots.

A painful but necessary final reflection, in a DLC expressly aimed at fans.

With a year's delay EA Sports FC finds its identity, between the old FIFA and something new, more complex and more interesting.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom proves that a classic approach to the series is still possible as long as it only partially negates the evolutions of recent years. The new gameplay mechanics blend perfectly with the old-school structure and are fun, while the art direction takes your breath away.

If you can tolerate backtracking, a bit of repetitiveness, and a fragmented narrative, Funko Fusion might appeal to you due to its sheer volume of content, its LEGO-esque gameplay, and its cinephile verve.

Despite some flaws (even significant ones) that we hope future updates can resolve, Enotria: The Last Song proves to be a souls-like game with a distinct personality, both in its artistic and environmental characterization and in its gameplay, which has several well-conceived ideas. Not everything shines as we had hoped, but if there's one thing the game doesn't lack, it's courage.

An enticing strategy game that caters mostly to those who love to develop a culture and bringing it throught the eras. Deep and complex just at the right degree.

An ambitious sequel that doesn't just offer more of the same old Frostpunk experience but brings the series in a new direction. If you are a veteran of the first game, you may initially feel disoriented by the new gameplay formula, but give it time, and you'll find that Frostpunk 2 is another excellent game from 11 bit Studios.

Unconvincing even when it shows off its peculiarities, Reynatis proves to be a barely mediocre action JRPG.

Conscript is a harrowing, immersive survival horror that boldly explores the brutality of WWI. Despite some balance quirks, its oppressive atmosphere, tense gameplay and thematic depth make it a must-play for fans of the genre seeking a challenging, thought-provoking experience.

On a pure gameplay level, NBA 2K25 is "The" basketball simulation. Too bad about 2 K's "vampire" attitude that sucks money in online modes. Like it or not, you must make in-game purchases to compete; the gameplay and graphics innovations convinced us, somewhat less so those related to game modes: the Steph Era is cute, and The W has unexpressed potential. The rest has not changed much from last year.

Originally a beloved Capcom title, this remake enhances the gameplay with modern quality-of-life improvements, while staying true to its roots in many ways. From upgraded graphics with RE Engine to improved survivor AI, the experience is more accessible, but this might divide long-time fans. The remaster succeeds in updating a classic, appealing to both newcomers and veterans, though some might argue that the essence of the original's hardcore difficulty has been softened. An impressive rework that balances nostalgia with modern sensibilities.

A stylish, distinctive, and intriguing action-adventure platformer. It's not challenging, long, or mechanically deep, but it oozes magic from every 2D or 3D pore.

Deathbound shines with ambition and innovative ideas, but stumbles in execution. Its unique party system and fascinating setting clash with technical issues and weak narrative, with the result of an imperfect but intriguing experience for Soulslike fans.

A bland horror narrative adventure, too focused on paying homage to the Dead by Daylight universe rather than on creating a compelling and convincing story.

A good starting point for something bigger, a reliable and more welcoming expansion than ever, but certainly not innovative.

Yars Rising blends metroidvania and retro with mixed results. Appealing graphics and nostalgic tributes don't offset basic level design and repetitive mechanics. A decent adventure that fails to leave a mark, suitable for genre fans seeking an accessible but uninnovative experience.
