The return of Resident Evil 3 manages to maintain the balance between memory and adaptation. Even if the renunciation of certain characteristic aspects of the original game could disappoint the most avid fans, the care taken in the reconstruction of the atmosphere and of the feeling it is visible an above all, perceivable. Nemesis could have been more time on the stage, of course, but even so its presence hovers in the apocalypse of Raccoon City, and when it finally manifests itself it is as beautiful as it is distressing. Though: twenty years later, its threat it can be put back into perspective and the blows exchanged between peers.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is just one of many musou beat'em up, but it is done with competence and will delight One Piece fans.

A very interesting "hero slasher" that at the moment is lacking in terms of contents and variety.

The Foundation is a (too much) linear and fun end game mission for Control. The setting is very weird and fascinating and it's really amazing to unleash the full Jessy potential. On the other hand, the new power, Shape, is less creative and game changing than it should have been, and the result is that the exploration and gameplay feels a little bit railroaded.

Granblue Fantasy Versus is an interesting experiment, that can bring new users into the fighting game community… unless they're interested in the single player side: the built-in RPG does not offer a real challenge.

Daedalic's take on tactical combat is unique and refreshing, making for a robust gameplay that is also enriched by an interesting setting inspired by Finnish folklore.

A verbose strategic one, with a farraginosa interface, offering a solid, complex and articulated game structure, but also very "hard" to tame: only for fans.

Half-Life: Alyx is an incredible demonstration of what can be done with virtual reality. Nobody, so far, has put the amount of resources and research that Valve did. This might not be the killer application VR needs, but it's an excellent game, worthy of the main series of Half-Life.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a step forward for the series and overall is a fun racing game with unique atmospheres, a great sense of speed, and a surprising environmental storytelling. It pays the price of a strange handling, somewhat bizarre physics and some harsh game design choices.

Hugely enriching its original formula, Persona 5 Royal is a must-have JRPG, but also a great game for anyone wanting to discover a new genre.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons change the game in a lot of subtly but meaningful ways, giving it more depth, freedom and a better flow.

An evolution, not a revolution: fans of WWII settings will enjoy a deep, but accessible, strategy game.

A game made for My Hero Academia fans. Easy, very simple, a bit repetetive but fun.

Warlords of the New York is a rich expansion pack for The Division 2, which relies on a magnificent environmental storytelling and great boss battle, but also on a over-used and over-spoiled game structure and a lackluster narration. The end game revolution works, but the collection of rinse and repat mission is something to work on. Overall, anyway, it's a good expansion pack for die hard fan of the game.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is one of the best game of this generation, thanks to a compelling story, a brand new combat system and a great variety of contents that make it an amazing successor to Moon Studios' interpretation of the metroidvania genre.

In this frightening and ruthless Japan, filled with all kind of monstruosity, there's no room for mistakes. Sure, Nioh 2 is hard, but it also gives one of the deepest combat system ever seen in a souls-like, and the wildest bunch of enemies to cut down.

Yes, Your Grace is a brilliant mix of a "choices and consequences" game and medieval storytelling. It's a small game with a huge heart and it's a joy to play. The crown of Davern is heavy and you can feel the meaning of every choice, even if the structure of the game may be a little bit repetitive. Above all, anyway, Yes, Your Grace is crafted with love, and the sight and the sounds of Grevno Castle will last long in the hearts of the players.

Another good shot for Capcom, and finally we can play the four Mega Man Zero in their best form: we have the most balanced versions ever, for at least twenty beautiful hours. A love letter to the fans and a good opportunity for the other to know a good part of videogames history. Unfortunately the greatest extra of the collection, the Z Chaser, is not good as it looks like at first and its forbidden controls remapping ruins the experience.

This Champion Edition is a cheap way to get back into Street Fighter V (when compared to the DLC packs of Tekken 7 or Dragon Ball FighterZ), but doesn't add much to its original formula.

Dreams is not the best software to make a game, but that's not the point. Media Molecule's dream is to build a homeland for creators, to make the Dreamverse a self-sufficient place, where users can share their skills in the easiest way: that is the goal of the project, but the dream cannot exist without the dreamers.
