If you had any fears, rest assured: the Life is Strange license is in good hands, even if True Colors is clearly imperfect. The game shines on some points but disappoints on others.

The episode of maturity for CI Games. Between the phases of pure action and infiltration, this Contracts 2 gives you a feeling of deep freedom in the open worlds traveled, and the stress of being spotted is even more present. Add to this beautiful scenery thanks to the CryEngine and an interesting contribution of the DualSense, you have here a perfect simulator of remote murder.

14 / 20 - Townscaper
Sep 12, 2021

Townscaper is a nice little surprise. Based on simple, intuitive and effective gameplay, this game closer to the digital toy allows you to escape and relax for a few minutes that can quickly turn into hours.

14 / 20 - RiMS Racing
Sep 11, 2021

Rims Racing is a game intended primarily for motorcycle and mechanical enthusiasts, ready to spend hours on the track or in the workshop. The title stands out from the competition thanks to features that we would like to see more often in other productions of the genre. Unfortunately, light content, a fragile technical part and especially a failed AI tarnish the game experience.

Aliens Fireteam Elite is a very good release that scrupulously respects the codes laid down by the eponymous saga (despite the presence of some novelties, but always in the tone) and this is perhaps in the end its biggest flaw.

16 / 20 - Dice Legacy
Sep 8, 2021

Under its air of small indie game, Dice Legacy offers us a fichtrement addictive home gameplay. Mechanics entirely focused on dice roll, and therefore, randomness, forcing us to think about each of our actions. With its challenge and atypical gameplay, there is no doubt that the app will delight players looking for experience off the beaten track.

If the artistic direction of F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch with its anthropomorphic orientation in a diesel punk universe is remarkable, it is not its only strength. The title is indeed very solid, both in its platform aspect and in the very fluid and dynamic combat phases.

Even if it turns out to be annoying at times and has not got rid of the inherent flaws of 3D episodes, this Sonic Colours Ultimate is still a good game. The app has received a welcome facelift, except in the cutscenes, and deserves a second chance, because even in 2021, if other games have shown that the blue hedgehog is still valiant, it remains one of the best Sonic of the post-Dreamcast era. Which is still not nothing.

14 / 20 - Recompile
Sep 5, 2021

Challenge enthusiasts will be delighted by some platform-based passages, as well as by some fights, especially against bosses. At least before you become overpowered. The adventure will have in any case convinced us, while telling us an interesting story that is revealed in small doses.

17 / 20 - Cloud Gardens
Sep 4, 2021

Just out of its early access and now also available on Xbox, Cloud Gardens is a great experience. Organic puzzles, that's what had never been made of memory. And the title even has the luxury of doing it well, bringing lightness, calm and a few moments of reflection to meet the challenges required.

Pile Up! Box By Box offers a good platformer that suffers from some inaccuracies due in particular to a sometimes capricious camera and a slight lack of ambition in terms of puzzles that are varied but far too simplistic.

13 / 20 - The Big Con
Aug 31, 2021

A true tribute to the 90's with its universe and discussions full of references and its graphic paw reminiscent of the cartoon Doug, The Big Con is not a game to put in all hands. The title is based on a gameplay focused on theft that never evolves, dialogues in the vein of the time, now uncomfortable, and an atmosphere of the 90s that works wonderfully. A funny game worthy of a sitcom, which can tire at times, but which seems reserved only for the nostalgic.

17 / 20 - Humankind
Aug 30, 2021

Humankind delivers on its promises and delivers a controlled and complete 4X experience. The feeling of freedom in our choices and our way of approaching our parts is real and the studio offers us a wide range of possibilities with many different civilizations and a well-thought-out heredity system.

18 / 20 - Psychonauts 2
Aug 29, 2021

If you are looking for a fresh and pleasant experience to go through without taking the cabbage, Psychonauts 2 is the ideal candidate. Artistically inspired, rather beautiful, funny and generous whether in terms of content, or gameplay mechanics, you never get bored. Inventive and creative, Double Fine has cared for its foal in every detail, from writing to environments to collectibles, must do it.

Mama cooked us a bland and tasteless episode. You will have understood, the table that is depicted here is not very bright.

20 / 20 - Hades
Aug 23, 2021

Hades is a great vintage, we knew it since its release, we confirm it in these lines. Supergiant Games has given it its all and serves us one of the best games of recent years. Beautiful to die, artistically irreproachable, the app may not invent anything, but it absolutely transcends all the mechanics related to the genre it represents.

10 / 20 - 12 Minutes
Aug 22, 2021

It could have been one of the most impactful indie games of 2021, it will be one of the big disappointments of the year. Despite an interesting concept on paper, Twelve Minutes completely misses the execution. Between obscure, sometimes abstruse puzzles and illogical actions, we hoped that the narrative would raise the level but it is not so.

Complicated to approach a Director's Cut and decide on how to evaluate it. Also, it will depend on your experience. If you are devoid of any progression in Ghost of Tsushima, there is no question to ask, go for it, our 17/20 + favorite is more valid than ever, the work being more immersive with technical changes or improvements via the DualSense.

15 / 20 - Road 96
Aug 16, 2021

Developed by a small team of about fifteen people, Road 96 is a narrative and artistic success. The title charms from the first moments with its mesmerizing atmosphere, its exotic environments and especially its characters as colorful as the game. Relying on procedural storytelling was a risky bet, but brilliantly taken up thanks to a mastered, funny and touching writing, carried by interactive gameplay and intelligent mechanics.

15 / 20 - The Ramp

I didn't expect anything from it and... I am not disappointed. This is how we could summarize The Ramp, a game that wanted to capture the feeling of relaxation created by the practice of skateboarding under a chill music.
