Demons' Souls is probably the most respectful remake we've ever seen: the core is the same, but the game finally looks like a real next-gen opera that enhances a true pillar of the genre.

Sniper Elite 4 manages to offer a unique approach to shooter games, thanks to its deep and articulated sniping mechanics. Yet, the release on Switch doesn't even try to hide its age and feels shallow and forgettable. If you love this kind of game, probably Switch isn't the best choice where to play it.

The Falconeer is fascinating and compelling in many aspects, despite its repetitivity.

Melody of Memory is a fun and compelling rhythm game for Kingdom Hearts' veterans, but don't expect so much from the storytelling in this one.

Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is not a reproposition that PS4 players must feel obliged to have back, because beyond the technical upgrade and beautiful lighting, there is nothing else that acts as a real motivation to start the adventure again. However, if you plan to buy Miles Morales on PS5 and are true Spider-Man enthusiasts, the unique package is by no means an option to be underestimated, although it is short-sighted for an increasingly multifaceted audience.

What a fun little surprise Sakuna Of Rice and Ruin has been. If you like 2D action rpgs and have always been curious about rice plantation, this is definitely the game for you.

Sackboy is a smart and colorful platform game, filled with fun moments and loyal to its LittleBigPlanet's roots.

Champions of Vestroia is a dull and uninspired title that doesn't make justice to neither the talent of Wayforward nor the original franchise. It's best to avoid it, for now at least.

The epilogue to Greymoor, Skyrim's Dark Heart of The Elder Scrolls Online, is unfortunately not the unique and impressive ending we would have expected. Although the adventure is in any case enjoyable and full of interesting ideas (especially for the presence of a main villain with charisma to sell), Markarth closes this last parenthesis in the lands of Tamriel in a way that is a little too soft and incisive compared to what has been seen with previous expansions. In any case, there remains the hope that the future of ESO will soon take us back to the fascinating fantasy heaths of one of the MMO sagas most loved by players from all over the world.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has compelling story and themes, an often brave exploration component and inspired characters, even though those are all flooded by fillers seeking to artificially raise the longevity value.

Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is Devil May Cry at its finest. If you skipped the original release this is a must buy: otherwise, the add-ons are fun but far from being essential.

Yakuza Like a Dragon is the best we could hope for the franchise, after the end of Kazuma Kiryu's storyline. It's a full fledged RPG now, and this change works extremely well with many of the pre-existent mechanics of the franchise. Don't miss it.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales doesn't even try to reinvent the wheel, but it's enjoyable and well packed.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered is a technical mess and one of the worst ports we've seen in years.

Borderlands 3: Designer's Cut makes looter shooter veterans happy, further layering the role formula with four additional subclasses. They all achieve gearbox's goal without distorting the already eccentric Style of Vault Hunters. The icing on the cake is the new game mode. As in the most demanding roguelikes, in Barrel and loot you kill and die repeatedly, but at best you also earn a gluttonous loot and enough is enough to promote it with full marks. Our warm advice, however, is to face the challenge of Axton and Salvador in company, because the singleplayer will also be good and right, but not in the case of Borderlands.

Tamarin tries to recall the old rare classics, but fails to propose a valid platform that looks and plays like a game form the mid '90.

SpellForce 3: Fallen God is an old style expansion, with lot of hours of gameplay equally divided between RPG and RTS, but if you don't like the mixture of genres, this DLC will not change your mind

Broken Porcelain is good at telling a story, and creating a world filled with horror things. However, the handling feel of this sequel is not satisfactory enough.

Dirt 5 is a real showcase of what the next-generation can do. It's also the best chapter of the series, with a brand new campaign and a lot of contents.
