Sep 15, 2020

There is no doubt that RPG Maker MV, due to its characteristic of being software adapted for consoles, requires patience beyond normal for amateur game designers. 80 / 100 - NBA 2K21
Sep 15, 2020

While its gameplay is still one of the best in the market and the game mode options are incredibly varied, NBA 2K21 follows the series tradition of sinning by its intrusive microtransactions that limit how much casual players can take from the complete package.

Captain Tsubasa has evolved a lot over the generations and has become an extremely dynamic and fun game. With the exception of the mix made with the stories – which makes no sense at all – the game manages to deliver quality and pleases even those who are not very fan of the genre. So if you were ever curious to try something different, but never found the right title, this is your time.

No Straight Roads is a unique, captivating and fun game. The soundtrack is absurdly good. The battles are creative and the characters overflow with charisma. However, it is relatively short, but challenging to finish it completely. If the platform parts before each boss were better, we would have a title that would easily compete for several awards.

Train Sim World 2 caters for train simulation in different and exciting environments. However, technical problems and the design of goals or ways of playing it end up leaving the game below its full potential.

The recurring failures in games of the genre do not take the shine from Marvel's Avengers. In addition to unparalleled potential, a well-presented universe, sharp gameplay and the possibility to enjoy in different ways for countless hours, the Crystal Dynamics title can achieve, in general, the success that other games have achieved only in a more restricted audience.

Although the initial impact generates a bit of awkwardness, Banner of the Maid has a very impressive success in what it proposes to do. The French Revolution serves as a backdrop for a great story around its protagonist and the elements of SRPG are very fun and interesting throughout the journey, making it a game that needs to be on everyone's radar.

Samurai Jack: Battle Trough Time can be considered the Samurai's redemption in the cracks of time. Although it has repetitive and tiring gameplay after some time, it manages to amuse and encourage the player to explore each part of the scene in search of secrets. With a proposal to revive the survival horror genre along the lines of games like Resident Evil, Outbreak: The New Nightmare bets on traditional elements of gameplay, plot and atmosphere of tension. However, by bringing the technical elements that are a fundamental and constitutive part of this type of game, it fails to promote an authentic experience that causes the famous sensations that enshrined the zombie apocalypse titles.

Destroy All Humans! is a good remake of a game that has become a cult classic over time. It has refined graphics in a new engine, but at the same time an excessive number of loadings. Regarding the base material, it has a good mood in certain parts, but the really fun parts (like destroying everything) are overshadowed by the bad stealth missions.

New Super Lucky's Tale is a great platform game for all ages. It has excellent gameplay and a great soundtrack. The biggest problem is its difficulty and maybe duration: besides being very easy (mainly for veterans of the 3D platform genre), the complete journey with 100% of the items does not take much time.

65 / 100 - Madden NFL 21
Aug 30, 2020

Marked more by its technical problems than by the improvements made this year, Madden NFL 21 is a clear step back in the franchise. Its news seems empty or just corrections of bad changes made in the past, while its qualities are essentially things that were already present in the previous game.
