Fun and intriguing, despite dragging the story at times, Robotics;Notes Elite is a great addition to the platform's visual novel library, specially with the caliber and weight that the SciADV games have for enthusiasts and fans of the genre.

Necromunda: Underhive Wars is an interesting game, but one that fails in some of the most basic premises of the genre and ends up managing to turn it into something boring that not even the setting can save it from failure.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake is undeniably very faithful to the original SEGA Saturn game and, therefore, an appeal to nostalgia. However, it is so faithful that at times it seems limited to a restricted and confusing gameplay. If the audiovisual received a decent and adequate update, there was a lack of boldness in bringing the game to the present day in other areas.

Star Wars: Squadrons offers a great experience within its proposal – the combat in classic ships of the franchise – with a satisfactory campaign and a robust multiplayer mode. With a competent look, its greatest strength is, in fact, in the sharp and balanced gameplay, not forgetting the franchise's inevitable appeal to fans of all ages.

Crash Bandicoot 4 is insanely difficult. This can be a positive or negative point, depending on your vision. However, the stages are, in general, too long, making the game exhausting at certain times. Except this and if you are not easily frustrated by high difficulties, Crash Bandicoot 4 is a must have title that has both nostalgia and novelty.

Simple and fun, WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an enjoyable experience for wrestling fans and rehabilitates a bit of the awful image that the series has because of the previous game, being a good distraction to play with friends either locally or online.

An excellent remake that provides an updated experience for one of the most captivating games of its time. Mafia: Definitive Edition is the perfect opportunity for fans and non-fans of the franchise to enjoy the beginning of the series in the best possible way, with incredible visuals. However, there are still problems that could have had a better rework, like a simplified gameplay in several points and an underused map.

Commandos 2 remains a must have game for fans of classic RTS games, although it gives its age in some mechanics already outdated. The HD remastering, especially on the PlayStation 4, however, brings so many gaffes of the adaptation that enjoying the title ends up requiring a much greater effort than it should.

Praetorians HD Remaster is a classic RTS game in all its merit, but also in all its limitations, especially considering the PlayStation 4 version and the features of the DualShock 4 and the couch player. It has its advantages, but suffers in all aspects – narrative, audiovisual and gameplay – to dialogue with the current moment, even though it belongs to a relatively rare genre on consoles today.

Ary and the Secret of Seasons had a lot of potential, mainly for their inspirations. However, the final execution was horrible and appears to have been delivered in a hurry. It is not worth the investment with the current quality, but it may be that in the future they will be able to correct the dozens of flaws that hinder the fun and immersion.

Vader Immortal: The Star Wars VR Series is a must-have title for every fan of the Star Wars saga who seeks a great experience related to the franchise universe. Unfortunately, as a game based on the value of your campaign, it is a very short title that makes poor use of its mechanics, lacking a challenge and better ways to work on its concepts. Fortunately, its dojo is quite entertaining and will certainly yield hours of fun for those who wish to face its challenges.

90 / 100 - Spelunky 2
Sep 25, 2020

Although Spelunky 2 recycles much of the formula that made the first game so great, it is a fantastic evolution. This is another "benchmark" for procedural games, which promises to provide countless discoveries and curiosities over the years. It is a product that tests the skill of both beginners and veterans. An essential experience for fans of the genre, whether in solo or cooperative mode.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning brings back a great RPG in a complete package, with a good story in a universe that still has a lot to explore. The diversified gameplay remains the strong point of the game, however, the remastering should have been better, with more visual and technical improvements for a game that has always been dated in that regard.

60 / 100 - Exp Parasite
Sep 23, 2020

Exp Parasite is not a complete bomb, however, the lack of a replay factor and high difficulty can keep away not only those who like the genre, but also those who like a good challenge to conquer the platinum.

80 / 100 - Hotshot Racing
Sep 22, 2020

Hotshot Racing is a great racing game and a beautiful tribute to the classics of the 90s. However, in addition to its gameplay being simple, the number of tracks is low and therefore it appears to be a small title, despite having a considerable number of modes for the genre.

eFootball PES 2021 is, ironically, much more than just a small roster update, bringing some very important gameplay adjustments that keep making the series one of the best sports simulators on the market, even though the lack of licenses and the games modes that feel frozen in time can hamper the fun.

With a fun structure, the addition of good characters and a interesting storyline that really adds to the lore, The Oriental Pirate is a DLC that should be on the radar of those who are playing Banner of the Maid or plan to buy it in the future.

Nexomon: Extinction is a great sequel to the first title in the series, bringing us a solid story, with very well developed characters and a good dose of humor. The guarantee of having between 30 and 40 hours of fun is certain, but it will be just that, since your post game is limited, mainly because there is no multiplayer mode. Although there are almost 400 Nexomon, there is a lack of charisma and involvement so that players can better identify with those they choose for their party.

Wintermoor Tactics Club brings a captivating, well-thought-out and fun story that helps you load up its simple combat system and poorly designed controls. Its ambientation and ideas should bring newcomers to the genre, even if it leaves veterans wanting more.

75 / 100 - Dog Duty
Sep 19, 2020

Dog Duty brings its own mechanics and ideas to a renaissance genre, doing more than enough to stand out. Part of that is how challenging and fun the game is, but a lot comes from the strength of the setting and the great script.
