Despite being the second enhanced port of the game, Disgaea 4 Complete+ is yet another proof of why, despite all these years, D4 still is the best game of the franchise so far. Its absurd and funny story captures the essence of everything that the series represents and the well refined combat system contributes to make this title still one of the exponents of its genre.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is a game with a simple proposal, but it turns out to be quite challenging in the final stages. The difficulty becomes frustrating, depending on your interest in the game. Minigames are something else, but nothing that makes you spend a lot of time on them, even in multiplayer. In the end, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD ends up offering little content to the player.

The Behemoth has brought back its most successful game, but it sounds more like a modernization than a complete and improved version. Castle Crashers Remastered brings almost no new content beyond technical improvements, but it should please old players just for the nostalgia factor. However, those who could not enjoy the title years ago have the possibility to do so with the best version available.

Ghostbusters - The Video Game Remastered brings back one of the best works ever made to expand movie universes for games. With script and cast on par with what has been seen in theaters, it can maintain a fascinating ambience and unite it with consistent gameplay. This remastered version, however, although it can update some graphics, looks a lot more like a port, since it does not add much to what has been seen before and still needs some improvements, such as localization for our language, something that could not only present the game for a new audience as well as giving it new meanings for those who knew it before.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & The Secret Hideout not only does enough to differentiate itself from the most recent games of the series, but also puts it firmly as one of - if not the best - titles in the 22 years of the franchise, using all of its strongest points to deliver a memorable experience.

85 / 100 - Raging Loop
Oct 24, 2019

Raging Loop brings mistery, tradition, horror and intrigue in a single package just in time for Halloween, but that should be remembered long after it.

75 / 100 - MediEvil
Oct 23, 2019

MediEvil is a good way to remember the PlayStation classic. The game is basically the same, with a great new paint layer, freer camera control and a few extras. However, besides being relatively short, MediEvil has a considerably high number of collision bugs and the new camera is not very good in many moments.

Caique Barsil
80 / 100 - Code Vein
Oct 22, 2019

Code Vein brings many fun and interesting features to the souls-like subgenre, and even though it doesn't reach excellency in some aspects, it still stands out and entertains enough to stand amongst the big ones as a possible new franchise to become a reference.

The DLC Rise of the Ghosts offers an experience extremely similar to the base game without adding anything that makes it stand out. It's a good recommendation for those that loved the base game and want more content.

78 / 100 - Indivisible
Oct 21, 2019

Indivisible is a game that does not bring much variety, mainly due to the absence of the famous customization, an almost mandatory feature in games of this genre. However, the beauty, fun and longevity may make you want to give it a try.

NIS America games are unmistakable and represent the face of the producer. However, Destiny Connect is not "connected" to its own gameplay, bringing many animation flaws, intense motion blur and sensible gameplay without many possibilities. The story and the characters are very catchy, but the game isn't.

As a set of work, The Ninja Saviors - Return of the Warriors is a great game to play alone (or even with a couch friend) with a very well-metered challenge level. The game knows what it wants to achieve, who its audience is, and so knows how to handle the scope of the project. If in audiovisual terms it can look for classic elements very competently, with small doses of modernity, the gameplay shines when dealing with simplicity with something sophisticated, although a greater variety of possibilities is lacking. The campaign is short and the replay factor depends on the player's thirst for trophies and perfection, but everything is well dosed to ensure the game doesn't become too repetitive before it's over.

Ubisoft might have excessively applied its open-world formula in the creation of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Even with a great map and yet a good gunplay, uninspiring activities, a story without direction and forcing the game into an even bigger version of The Division clearly do not fit in with everything the series has featured in decades. While the cooperative factor may motivate you to tackle this arduous task, it is only valid with low investment and a lot of patience.

65 / 100 - Grid
Oct 17, 2019

GRID has an excellent gameplay, however, the whole package ends up failing due to its excessve simplicity and the online mode that is far below what you can expect from current standards.

Spirit Hunter: NG, taking one step forward and one step back, ends up delivering a game just as fun and interesting as its predecessor.

Despite the challenges of having to carry the story behind two of the best JRPGs of the last decade, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III more than lives up to its legacy, delivering an experience anchored in a narrative that, despite taking a little bit to truly develop, manages to be one of the most surprising ones of its genre, and a gameplay even more challenging and fun than its predecessors.

Despite its troublesome controls and lack of polish, L.A. Noire The VR Case files is a must-have title for those who have had the opportunity to play the original title.

Children of Morta greatly mixes action RPG and roguelite styles, creating a fresh experience every time you play. The narrative development and the stories that make up the Bergson family are capable of holding the player more than the gameplay itself. While minor technical issues are frequent with the console version, nothing detracts from the great experience the title provides.

94 / 100 - Frostpunk
Oct 11, 2019

Whether it's the setting and mature themes presented or the diverse and complex gameplay mechanics, Frostpunk sets an example on how strategy games should be. The immersion is so deep that it is difficult to realize the lost (but well invested) hours. It is a game that deserves your attention and it's absolutely worth of your time.

The Alliance Alive is one of the best examples on how to bring old school RPG design to modern platforms. The HD Remaster has few changes if compared to the original, however, The Alliance Alive HD Remastered still is an excellent game with an interesting story, charismatic characters and a deep battle system that requires strategy.
