This is what we expect from games as a service: huge amount of content (at launch day!), exciting endgame and a lot of quality-of-life changes which were never implemented by other competitors.

Brilliant jazz improvisation in a game form. Fun, instinctive and harmonious.

A nice and very fun throwback to the past which doesn't require you to find out what these alien rappers were doing if this is the first time you are seeing them.

Long awaited 'true' sequel to the DMC series isn't about only Dante AGAIN. Nero as a playable character still feels like a step back for the series. As for V, he is just one of the worst characters in the genre. With the boring level design and lack of action in the cutscenes, DMC5 is falling behind both DMC3 and DMC4.

Devotion feels like "one step forward, two steps back" in comparison with Detention, previous (and brilliant) work of Red Candle Games.

A fantastic battle royale game and one of the best shooters of this generation. Also, it's free!

Kingdom Hearts 3 is not the grand finale as someone hoped for, but nevertheless it's the decent ending of the Xehanort saga. The game wraps up all the story lines in a really nice, even kind manner, but leaves a few bridges to the future of the series.

Resident Evil 2 (2019) is not just a great present for the fans of the original, but perfectly modern survival horror game, which blends old and new on the unbelievably high level.

It seems like during the years of development, Friend & Foe has forgotten what it wanted to say with Vane.

A great JRPG which doesn't feel old most of the time, and is still very hard to break away from.

GRIS is the most tender and probably the most beautiful game of the year. Clean and minimalistic act of art

Below is a torture: the game is so beautiful and intriguing, but it's such a pain to actually play it.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is not messing with its name. This is really a Super Ultimate edition of one of the best fighting series around, packed with a crazy amount of content and characters. But some minor issues like poor online matchmaking are preventing SSBU from getting the highest score.
