The second addition to The Witcher 3 is to say goodbye to the series, at least for a while. The idea of visiting Toussaint turned out to be a hit and an effective way to close a chapter.

I have recently finished all previous episodes of the series and the verdict is in - A Thief's End is the best Uncharted there is. It expertly combines all the things we know and love with some nice, minor improvements and creates the perfect conclusion. It's a game that can be bought without hesitation, it's simply that good.

Previous titles from From Software studio were able to reject themselves from the very beginning, and Dark Souls III tries to convince new fans that the devil is not as scary as he is painted.

Even though Quantum Break is storytelling, there's no point in writing too much about it in a review. It would reveal too much, reveal facts that are best known for yourself. It is enough to mention that we are dealing with time travel and they are the most important element of this story, influencing not only its shape, but also the core of the game, including the mechanics of clashes with opponents. If you skipped the first paragraph of the review, it's time to catch up on that now and put Remedy's work alongside the more successful examples I've listed.

Recalling old games in remastered editions makes sense primarily in the case of representatives of the great classics. Day of the Tentacle is one of them. The lace work of Tim Schafer and the whole LucasArts.

Grim Dawn is a surprisingly good hack-and-slash and a great foundation for further development.

One of the most interesting zombie games has just seen a significant expansion. The Following tries not so much to base itself on Dying Light as to push it in a new direction, although at times it probably forgets that not every change is a good change.

Telltale Games has made a name for itself by creating episodic adventure games with minimal gameplay and an emphasis on history, and Tales from the Borderlands is an example of how, with the right approach, this formula can fit even into a wacky FPS.

The first addition to The Witcher 3 entitled Hearts of Stone not only invites you to participate in geralt's new adventure, but also proves that the DLC does not have to be lazy and uneasy.

Hideo Kojima with the release of The Phantom Pain is likely to say goodbye to the Metal Gear Solid series. He does it in a very good way, although it is difficult to find an understanding of many mistakes made on this occasion.

The Witcher 2 was a game from the beginning designed for PCs. In the case of The Witcher 3, the creators admit that multiplatforming forced them to compromise, but this does not mean that Wild Hunt for PC is a port prepared on the knee. Contrary.

The Witcher 3 is a game aiming for highest praise - you simply can't get enough of it. The need to see what happens next kept me glued to the console for many more hours than I had planned. Unfortunately the The Wild Hunt isn't perfect - the number of smaller and bigger issues can surprise (in a bad way, of course). It is an amazing game but right now the amount of bugs is simply too high.

The PC Verizon of GTA V is almost perfect. The superb base version is well known and loved, but the optimization, controls and new options knock it out of the park. Of course there were some issues with the game after the launch - so many delays should have eliminated these kinds of setbacks and for that the final grade goes down a bit. But when you finally get to play GTA V on your PC you'll be amazed.

From Software did it again - they have created a demanding, satisfying and superbly designed game. Some ideas are well known but the whole package feels original and unique. There are some minor issues here and there and still they don't bother the player. Bloodborne's world pulls you in with blood, new technology and a great artistic vision. A truly excellent game.

This time, the money from Kickstarter was not wasted. A hellishly experienced team has created a classic RPG that is a natural development of ideas from Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment.

Although we have smashed sluggish zombies hundreds of times, this convention still has its loyal fans. Thanks to Techland's Dying Light, the list of titles with which they will spend at least a few dozen successful hours has just expanded by another position.

This game sucks like a swamp, it's a festival of ideas that you vainly look for in the competition.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is the best installment in the series and one of the best games in BioWare's history. There's a lot to praise: an interesting story, cool characters, big world, Skyhold. Sure, there are some minor issues and the combat system isn't perfect but the scale and attention to detail make all of that seem unimportant. An excellent game indeed.

Forza Horizon 2 took the lead in the race for the title of the best car game of the year. Will DriveClub, Project Cars and The Crew be able to catch up with Microsoft's exclusive?

The Last of Us for the PS4 is a perfect game for all people who haven't had the opportunity to get acquainted with it before. It's probably the best game available for this piece of hardware - great story, engaging gameplay and impressive technology. But if you know The Last of Us, you have nothing new to look for, except shiny graphics. And that's not really THAT important, is it?
