So far Rainbow Six Extraction is a very entertaining experience if a little uninspired but the real fight begins now as the developers have to prove that this is something worth your long time engagement.

The entertaining gameplay is coupled with a funny set-up that pays homage to the older similar games while also making fun of them. The visual presentation is another fantastic part of this great experience which definitely doesn’t break any new ground but it’s made with such perfection in most of its aspects that Nobody Saves the World is an instant classic.

Monster Hunter Rise is a Monster Hunter game through and through but a handful of brilliant new ideas and the streamlining of some of the old ideas has made it the definitive experience in this franchise to this day.

As a psychological study of the inner workings of a tyrant’s mind, the new episode of Far Cry 6’s post launch content is quite fun specially if you are already invested in Far Cry 4 and its charismatic villain but on the gameplay side it is exactly like the last episode which is a little disappointing as the developers could’ve designed a new style more in tune with the new protagonist.

7 / 10.0 - Scarf
Dec 25, 2021

Scarf does not add anything new to its genre, but the simple mechanics and stunning visuals make this short and relaxing experience enjoyable. However, the controls and puzzles could have been better.

About a year and half ago Final Fantasy VII Remake finally achieved something that the brains behind this franchise have been trying to do for quite some time, make an Action/JRPG game that includes all the beloved elements of Final Fantasy while also providing something totally new and modern. Now PC gamers have the chance to experience the definitive edition of this game (Intergrade) but with the caveat that there are some performance issues and we don't get as much customising options as we like to have in a PC game.

Some small inconveniences aside, Fights in Tight Spaces, by combining ideas of turn-based strategy and deckbuilding titles into a very good package, offers intriguing and deep fights with a variety of strategies, each of which can be repeated many times with a different approach.

8.5 / 10.0 - White Shadows
Dec 7, 2021

In the beginning, White Shadows feels like another Playdead-clone that is playing it safe but then it hits its stride and we are faced with a Tesla-punk/Fritz Lang inspired adventure that scares you as much as it makes laugh and cry, like a crazy roller coaster ride to the silent era movies in video game form.

8 / 10.0 - Heavenly Bodies
Dec 6, 2021

Heavenly Bodies tests your patience and your inner cosmonaut’s ingenuity to solve some of the most challenging puzzles in Zero-G! This is not the kind of sci-fi adventure we are used to but a true to the real world problems that real astronauts face in outer space and although it is really hard, it is also a one of a kind video game well worth experiencing.

Aiko’s Choice brings back the heroes of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun for another brilliant adventure in espionage, sabotage and assassination. The new experience is quite shorter than the original title but the level design is done so masterfully that you want to keep coming back to these new levels and try different approaches.

7 / 10.0 - Chorus
Dec 3, 2021

Chorus is a fun, fast-paced and beautifully designed space opera/science-fiction game that can keep you entertained for hours upon hours. The problem is that there are few activities to do in the game's big world besides the core gameplay and the plot isn't as engaging as expected for this kind of setting.

After a campaign of threat and terror against the mod makers who had kept these titles alive for the better part of two decades and de-listing the original versions, we are offered this magnificent piece of failure and while playing it, you just keep wondering about the inner workings of QA departments of the publishers and console manufacturers that time and again have let titles this functionally broken, slip past them.

After ten years and two generations of video games, Skyrim still remains one of the best games of all time and the new features are implemented very well but it is also starting to show its age. All in all, this is a nice reason to start another adventure as the Dragonborn and wait for the next big experience that Bethesda Game Studios is cooking for us.

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is a title that only shines when it puts you in the role of Sherlock while he is solving cases. The combination of the story with the gameplay of these parts is well done and is biggest strengths of the title, but other parts like the combat system and the open world design, along with many technical problems, brings this new Sherlock Holmes adventure down a couple of pegs and ultimately delivers a fragile experience to the audience that gives a fluctuating levels of fun.

The great thing about Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is that it is another delightful Yoko Taro game with all the subversion of known clichés it provides and it is presented using a unique visual aesthetic. But it is not without its faults as gameplay-wise it lacks any big innovation and the random encounters are just too much and sometimes even make your progression a little tiresome.

7 / 10.0 - Riders Republic
Nov 3, 2021

Ubisoft developers have used all the things they learned from their previous extreme sports title and made a bigger and more exciting video game. There are of course the usual "Ubisoft Formula" problems but if you get in the right groove with how things work in Riders Republic, you are going to have great times with it.

White Paper Games, like its previous titles, has combined some interesting ideas together in Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View. Having Rear Window as a source of inspiration is a terrifying challenge, but the developers have created a compelling atmosphere and an intriguing sense of suspicion existing in such situations with good voice acting and dialogue. However, in some parts, such as the not-so-satisfactory pay-off of the story and a few repetitive puzzles, it is not successful.
