CFG Games's Reviews
Anno: Mutationem is a fun game with a few flaws. The fantastic presentation, enjoyable combat and interesting but off paced adventure is worth your time.
Better than Postal 3.
Cat Cafe Manager is a fun cafe simulation game with a mystical twist. The game features endearing characters to befriend while restoring the local shrine and rescuing stray cats.
A beautiful and charming game about a young girl on a quest (with the help of her dragon dad) to achieve her dream of becoming a hero. If you love story book art, definitely give this one a try!
Shadow Warrior 3 is a bit of a mess. It has good points, with its humor and cool weapons. Yet it also feels like something that has been done better in other games. Still fun for its runtime though.
For $10 I do think you'll get your money's worth. If you're looking to kill a couple of hours with a rhythm game there are worse options. Just don't expect anything with staying power.
If you're looking for a game that combines golf and RPGs then you will have an okay time with this title. For people looking for more in-depth golf or RPG game, I don't believe this title is for you.
Atelier Sophie 2 adds a lot of interface and quality of life improvements that really create a seamless experience. This is a great place to jump in and experience the joys of alchemy, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for any enthusiast of stylized roleplaying games.
A JRPG with a lot of potential with room for growth and fine tuning.
Letters is like reading a choose your own adventure diary in video game form. But the art and puzzles keep you pushing through.
The story and creepy atmosphere paired with psych tests gives Monark a unique RPG twist. I highly recommend checking out and exploring Monark for its story development, gameplay, and its unconventional but familiar JRPG action.
Very well made, well thought out JRPG. While there are a couple of small flaws and linear character upgrades, the overall experience is well crafted and the story and character dynamics are so much fun.
Ocean's Heart is a charmingly sassy action adventure RPG. There are pirates, mysterious ruins, exploration, and monsters along the way. It embraces the Zelda style for an engaging yet casual experience.
Anybody who is a fan of character action games will be happy with Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja War.
Top NEP pays great homage to the Sega arcade game Space Harrier down to every fiber of this title's being. At $5 it's a worthy addition to any Steam library!
Hammerting meets the bar for a good colony sim but still has a few kinks to work out regarding the story and the overworld engagement.
The spirit of the arcade scene in the 90s is fully alive with this title. I highly recommend Windjammers 2 to anybody who is a fan of arcade gameplay.
It's a very ambitious (maybe at some points too ambitious) first attempt at a horror visual novel with excellent art and sound design. However, this does not excuse the poor pacing, weird character decisions, or glitches that I've experienced.
A light-hearted story about a blooming relationship on an unknown planet surrounded by mysteries.
The unique art style, excellent lighting, and mechanical world design are all great.
