7 / 10 - Falcon Age
May 8, 2019

Falcon Age is a game with so much potential that doesn't quite do everything it could have. Still, it's a fantastic, fun, story driven-experience and a must-play with PlayStation VR.

A markedly different approach to adventure gaming; while it won't be for everyone, Heaven's Vault will undoubtedly attract a cult following.

While Close to the Sun is a visual treat, it isn't quite matched by the game's substance; it dips a toe in the waters of numerous genres but fails to fully commit to one, and ultimately suffers because of it.

In its current state, Imperator: Rome is a somewhat hollow experience. If you're a patient fan of grand strategy and don't mind dealing with the terrible UI, you'll enjoy what's available. The game will no doubt improve massively over time. Ave Rome!

5 / 10 - Outward
Apr 30, 2019

A beautiful concept marred by poor fighting mechanics, lacklustre graphics and a punishing learning curve that sucks all the fun out of adventuring. Outward has the potential to earn cult status, but will turn away all but the most diehard of fans.

6 / 10 - Xenon Racer
Apr 24, 2019

Xenon Racer wants to become this generation's Ridge Racer. Unfortunately it can't quite get the formula right and thanks to some rather annoying niggles lacks the fun-factor that made Ridge Racer what it was.

The Division 2 is a hefty step-up from its predecessor, with a massive amount of content to keep you engaged for weeks. Massive has created a truly engaging shared world game which remembers it's the players, and not the shareholders, that come first and foremost.

A mediocre fighting game and a poor representation of the Power Rangers franchise. Battle for the Grid is an uninspired, characterless game with few redeeming qualities.

Efforts have been made modernise Assassin's Creed III, however they're little more than superficial. Still, this is the best option for those looking to experience Connor's journey.

Both expansions add new challenges and illnesses to keep fans of Two Point Hospital going for a good while yet. Of the two, Pebberley Island brings in some unique hooks and the last level horde mode of that expansion is quite the test of our management skills.

Sekiro is a fascinating, engaging and downright outstanding game which puts too many people off too early to warrant a must-play tag.

7 / 10 - Tropico 6
Mar 29, 2019

Tropico 6 is a solid entry into the El Presidente series. There's a few new twists on the classic formula, but largely it's the same engaging mix of politics, trade, and imprisoning homeless people.

Clementine's final season starts out uneven, but the second half provides enough thrills, tension and deliberation to ensure that after seven years The Walking Dead gets a decent farewell.

The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep is a frustrating mix of brilliance and bad design. Future updates may elevate it to something more but right now it, sadly, suffers from some broken strings.

3 / 10 - Left Alive

A confused, badly designed and derivative mess of a stealth game, which should be avoided at all costs.

The Grand Tour Game doesn't deliver what's needed as an interactive experience and makes you long to watch the show without the irritation of anything else. As an experiment, it provides Amazon with plenty of useful results, all of which indicate something very different is needed to combine TV and gaming media.

A slick PC to console port that stands proudly on its own two feet/tentacles — Stellaris is a fine example of grand strategy that melts away hours upon hours of your time in a haze of deadly supernovas, hypervelocity railguns and diplomacy through gritted teeth.
