Jump Dash Roll's Reviews

Both expansions add new challenges and illnesses to keep fans of Two Point Hospital going for a good while yet. Of the two, Pebberley Island brings in some unique hooks and the last level horde mode of that expansion is quite the test of our management skills.

Sekiro is a fascinating, engaging and downright outstanding game which puts too many people off too early to warrant a must-play tag.

7 / 10 - Tropico 6
Mar 29, 2019

Tropico 6 is a solid entry into the El Presidente series. There's a few new twists on the classic formula, but largely it's the same engaging mix of politics, trade, and imprisoning homeless people.

Clementine's final season starts out uneven, but the second half provides enough thrills, tension and deliberation to ensure that after seven years The Walking Dead gets a decent farewell.

The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep is a frustrating mix of brilliance and bad design. Future updates may elevate it to something more but right now it, sadly, suffers from some broken strings.

3 / 10 - Left Alive
Mar 20, 2019

A confused, badly designed and derivative mess of a stealth game, which should be avoided at all costs.

The Grand Tour Game doesn't deliver what's needed as an interactive experience and makes you long to watch the show without the irritation of anything else. A slick PC to console port that stands proudly on its own two feet/tentacles — Stellaris is a fine example of grand strategy that melts away hours upon hours of your time in a haze of deadly supernovas, hypervelocity railguns and diplomacy through gritted teeth.

6 / 10 - Beat Cop

Not quite an arresting adventure, but there's some cop genre fun to be had if you can stand the outdated attitudes.

Brilliantly conceived but sloppily executed, The Occupation's potential as an immersive detective sim suffers from too many technical problems to recommend it.

Devil May Cry 5 is a wonderfully ridiculous game that rightfully returns the series to the spotlight. In many ways it feels very safe, but by willing to take a few risks and do more than satiate an existing fanbase, Capcom has injected new life into this once dormant franchise with a stylish and worthwhile addition.

6 / 10 - Anthem
Mar 6, 2019

We hoped beyond hope that Anthem would show the world just how sci-fi online action role-playing games were done. What we got, however, was far from that and without some serious improvement, Anthem could take Mass Effect: Andromeda's crown as BioWare's worst ever release.

9 / 10 - Metro Exodus
Mar 5, 2019

Metro Exodus confidently takes the franchise into 'AAA' territory with a tense, exciting, survival horror game that balances exciting action with methodical stealth and a stunning open world. Just remember: it's not always the dark you should be afraid of.

5 / 10 - Massira

You'd expect this tale of human hope and loss to affect all who play it, but not when the message's delivery system is an empty and unengaging game.

9 / 10 - Apex Legends
Feb 14, 2019

Apex Legends lays down the gauntlet to established Battle Royale games such as Fortnite and PUBG. The ping system alone is worth its weight in gold and allows for the more reserved gamers amongst us to join in and have fun. Loot boxes aside, Apex Legends is fast, fun and buttery smooth to play.
