PlayStation Galaxy's Reviews

Mar 4, 2019

Steins;Gate Elite is such an experience that touches your emotions, rattles your mind with long physics theories, time travel, and narration, but rewards you big time in the end. Not recommended for those who love action, but totally worth it for fans of visual novels, book novels, and other same materials.

6.5 / 10.0 - Anthem
Mar 1, 2019

Anthem is far from perfect, it’s covered with numerous technical issues and server problems, and its narrative can be a long stretch to understand. Regardless of its issues, Anthem’s world can still keep you engaged with tons of activities to do, combat is enjoyable, helping low level players can give you awesome rewards, and its exhilarating flight mechanics is something that must be experienced. Overall, Anthem is still a fun game to play, especially with your friends

This game is a must own for those who love puzzle games. While this isn’t quite a game that everyone can enjoy, it’s definitely a game that offers and enchanting experience for those who want it. And I think it’s all the better for it. I believe that everyone should at least try the game once.

5 / 10.0 - JUMP FORCE
Feb 13, 2019

Shounen Jump created this game in celebration of their 50th year anniversary and many of us were definitely at least interested in it and some couldn't help but be overly excited over it. The theory and potential were definitely there, I just don't know what happened to the execution, delivery, and passion though. For all we know it could be hidden in Kakashi's mouth if we're lucky. Jump Force is not a bad game, nor was it a good game, but definitely a disappointing game in my opinion.

9.5 / 10.0 - Apex Legends
Feb 12, 2019

Apex Legends provided more than what PUBG and Fortnite, even Blackout, had to offer. Despite having 60 players in the map, a forced squad-based battle royale with an impressive ping system, an awesome cast of Legends with peculiarly amusing dialogue, outstanding overall game performance and smooth gameplay, Apex Legends is the best battle royale game out there.

Overall, despite its flaws, Kingdom Hearts 3 is a definite must-have for any PS4 owner. It plays out great, it looks good, and it’s fun. To most, that’s all they’re looking for.

8.8 / 10.0 - God Eater 3
Feb 6, 2019

God Eater 3 is tons of fun with stunning new visuals, new weapons, new foes to face, and more. The game will even get more content in the coming months with the scheduled updates coming. This is definitely a must buy for a fan of the series. Players who are new to the game might enjoy it as well.

With a great campaign, extra modes, and other unlockables Resident Evil 2 is without a doubt a must own.

While the game feels truly dated, for those of you who don’t mind playing classic PS2 games then Onimusha: Warlords is something that you might want to check out, but for those of you who’ve already played and especially beaten this game long ago then I would suggest spending your time playing games of this generation.

11-11 was a fun ride with a unique and beautiful art style, complemented by a well-written story that taught me that it’s really not about the destination, but the characters that you meet along the way.

3 / 10.0 - Vane
Jan 30, 2019

Though Vane did not hit any mark for it to be considered good, we can only wonder what’s next for Friend & Foe, and hope that the developers understand that gamers want to not only be challenged intellectually but to also attain an experience they will always remember.

Even with the absence of character development and upsetting VR mode, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is a great entry to show that even old formulas work with some slight twists to it.

Overall, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is a great game to play and even the original was great in its time. It has great gameplay, beautiful visuals, small upgrades for resolution and frame-rates, a dark story, awesome English dubs, and the perfect replay value. Hands down to this beautiful JRPG, and thank you Bandai Namco Entertainment for finally bringing this version to western shores.

6.8 / 10.0 - Just Cause 4
Jan 23, 2019

At its core, Just Cause 4 seems like a game that's been directed by Michael Bay. Special effects are fancy and explosions are always pretty to look at, but there's no real depth or anything meaningful to find in this game.

4 / 10.0 - Fallout 76
Jan 16, 2019

All in all, Fallout 76 did really feel like a chore to play. It could be fun if you have friends or are really into base building, but as a lone wolf that wants to play a game for its story, it’s personally not worth the hassle.

8 / 10.0 - Battlefield V
Jan 3, 2019

Battlefield V is barebones on launch with some classic modes stretched within four months — which includes the all-new battle royale mode Firestorm. Even so, I still enjoyed my time on Grand Operations, scaring off a tank with a Panzerfaust and an anti-tank grenade, and jumping off from C-47s.

9 / 10.0 - My Memory of Us
Jan 2, 2019

The game may be simply played, but it is definitely the story and its accompanying music that makes it wonderful. I was glad to have experienced something like that because of its refreshing approach. I am excited to see what more Juggler Games are capable of giving to a growing audience of a genre like this.

Earth Defense Force 5 is a stupid fun game that lets you kill giant monsters and aliens with tons of issues and flaws. At least I was invested in its story and I had fun, but I’m not going to play it ever again. I’ll be deleting it in my digital library or selling the physical copy, thank you very much.

All in all, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a pretty good game to keep and play again for the challenge. Great gameplay, good visuals, solid voice acting, several options for upping the difficulty, and an intriguing storyline are the reasons I gave it a high score. I do see some parts that need improvement that needs to be implemented in the next title though. Devs, make it happen because I really like this game despite its small flaws.

8 / 10.0 - Hitman 2
Nov 23, 2018

When it all boils down to it, Hitman 2 is pretty much just finding new ways to kill the same targets. With only six maps, you’ll often be facing the same targets again and again. Most maps have more than just one target, but I do wish there were a little bit more variety. I still think it’s a great game. With the elusive targets coming up (I’m coming for you Sean Bean) as well as DLCs, there’s a lot to this game to look forward to.
