SnowRunner moved the bar a couple steps higher in every way. The beautiful realistic graphics offer plenty of amazingly detailed winter environments. If you're patient enough and a fan of offroad driving simulators, you'd better not miss it.

Gears Tactics' devs took a lot of inspiration and know-how from the XCOM series, but they implemented it so elegantly, it's not very bothersome at all. The visual style and atmosphere stayed very true to the original series, but the whole experience is compromised by repetitive forced side missions and weak RPG progression.

Thunder Paw is an extremely brief, yet charming title. However, it suffers from boring level design and no replay value.

Bleeding Edge is a completely average title, lacking any new ideas. The only things it has going for it are the visuals and combat, but those won't keep you playing for too long.

Resident Evil 3 is more of a re-imagining than a remake. Orthodox fans of the original might not be happy, but on the other hand, at least you don't know what to expect from Nemesis. There's no denying the fact that compared to Resident Evil 2. this game is more action packed, linear and shorter. If you don't mind that, there's plenty of fun to be had in Raccoon City

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2 is a celebration of speed. It has some minor issues, but its driving model is enjoyable like no other game. However, although it's a top tier game in its genre, that alone isn't enough for a better score.

Dark Souls 2 couldn't match the original, however Nioh 2 crushes in that regard. The sequel didn't lose any of the charm of the first game and the quality bar stayed firmly in its place. If you're into soulslikes, don't hesitate even for a moment.

Doom 64 is a great remaster of the somewhat forgotten Doom episode from Nintendo 64. It still offers unique visual style, great level design and fun gameplay. If you're a fan of retro shooters, you can't afford to miss it.

Panzer Corps 2 is an enjoyable strategy game for a very small audience. However, this audience shouldn't be disappointed.

Ylands is a fun sandbox adventure for the whole family that supports your creative urges and allows you to create whatever you can think of, even without any coding knowledge. And if you're not feeling creative, there's plenty of fun minigames as well.

Two Point Hospital is a well-done spiritual successor to the old good Theme Hospital that inherited all of the good things about it and gave them a modern coat of paint. The transition to consoles went with no problems as well.

Beautiful Desolation is a good looking atmospheric game packed with ideas that sometimes suffers from almost trivial gameplay and sometimes from high level of challenge. It's evident a lot of work went into the title, but it required a firmer editorial hand that would smooth out the rough edges.

Sega gave us an excellent virtual gift that shouldn't pass by any fans of adrenaline filled action games and the PlatinumGames portfolio. The timeless gameplay of Vanquish and Bayonetta both speaks for itself and feels modern even now.

Kentucky Route Zero is a work of art that rests solely on its literary qualities and atmosphere. Good thing is that both of these aspects are very solid and the long wait for the final act was worth it. A worthy conclusion of a remarkable video game.

If you've not grown tired of the standard Yakuza formula yet, you definitely won't regret buying The Yakuza Remastered Collection either. Even though it shows the games are bit older, the main reasons why we love the series are definitely still there.

Even though we seldom see something like it in the video game industry, Dreams is a revolutionary title that should be a shining example to the other development studios. However, don't forget that the future of the title solely depends on the community and only the time will tell whether it will appreciate a title so focused on creativity like this.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War isn't without its faults, but mostly it's engaging and brutal in the right way. However, the core concept that has been with us since Left 4 Dead could definitely use some innovations and we can't tolerate the lack of ideas forever.
