Call of the Sea looks like a blend of a walking sim game with puzzle aspects, that in general will satisfy your appetite if you're a veteran of games like Myst and Riven. In no way this game is intended for casual gamers because the lack of guidance and sense of ambiguity will get on your nerves. These Lovecraftian moments and aspects of the story are incorporated in a fantastic manner through the game. In the end, It doesn't have to be groundbreaking for something to be satisfying and unique and that's exactly what it is.

Anthem seems to be a really big lost chance for something trully enjoyable. It does not live up to its hype neither its full potential...for now. Bioware mirrors Bungie on Destiny 1 but in a much more messier scale. That doesn't mean that there is no room for improvement over time.

Swery retests the patience of all those we love by delivering yet another poorly made result that like the previous ones had the makings for something much better. The Good Life is exclusively for the fanatics who will be rewarded by the special moments of the script but will get tired along the way.

It's a shame that a historic football franchise is now officially long gone and its place has been taken by a game that is not even playable to begin with. And no it cannot be excused because its free-to-play.

Bright Memory is definitely an ambitious endeavor by a sole developer who wants to deliver high-octane action in an FPS-type Tomb Raider adventure that combines shooting and melee. The end result is unfortunately disappointing, with an exaggeration characterizing it throughout its range.

I find it hard to recommend Kirby Fighters 2 to a fan or not of nintendo's pink bubble. To be honest, I doubt how much someone will enjoy it, even in those few hours that will keep you on screen. The title displays several issues. If anyone really wants my opinion, then that's to invest twice as much money in Super Smash Bros. and let Kirby Fighters 2 be forgotten, along with 2020.

She See Red is an Interactive thriller that wants to look quite like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch after its huge success. Unfortunately, the possibilities given to the player-viewer do not change the script much.

aji: An Ancient Epic is a casual at the core of the game, with simplistic gameplay mechanisms, which in no way can support the "epic" adventure promised by its title.

Hellpoint brings some new ideas to the souls-like genre but fall short of delivering. Add to that the fact that the experience is almost unplayable due to its technical problems, and you have a game that is hard to recommend.

Ancestors certainly tries to do something different and is admittedly based on a fairly original and fresh idea, but unfortunately its held back by over-ambition, among many other fundamental problems.

With its uninspiring story and its repetitive gameplay that lacks any sense of creativity, I find Eden Tomorrow really hard to recommend.

With the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign, Activision is testing the limits of how "cheap" it can get, while asking players for €79.99. The experiment unfortunately fails, resulting in the worst Call of Duty in years, which suffers on almost all fronts. From the extremely short duration, to the nerveless set-pieces, the copy-pasted environments that are simply altered parts of Warzone's maps, the poorly written script and the abrupt finale, these are just a few of the problems of this year's CoD. The situation is somewhat saved by the robust and tried and tested gunplay, some pleasant flashes, as well as quality graphics. But these are not enough to bring... in the spring. Unless you're big fans and well prepared for what's ahead, you'd better keep your money and invest your time elsewhere.

Unfortunately, the NBA 2K series has long been on a path that no matter how great things it accomplishes on its virtual court, it's hard to celebrate. Every year the situation with microtransactions and its commercial identity either remains the same or worsens. And every year we say how bad it is that these tactics overshadow a truly remarkable basketball game. The same, Unfortunately, we will also say this year. NBA 2K24 is better than ever in terms of gameplay, full of options, can provide truly endless hours of fun, and is a well-crafted tribute to the great Kobe Bryant. And all these not insignificant achievements, he has managed, to take second place. Pity.

Fire Emblem Engage features an excellent combat system that I'm sure fans of the genre will appreciate. It's smart, balanced, and with enough depth to absorb the player into its mechanics. It always rewards patience, organization and strategic combination of units and punishes rushing and "heroics". However, the rest of the game that frames this combat system is, unfortunately, in my opinion, disappointing.
